ACC Fifteen! Blocknroll's Birthday Bash
Musketballs, Southampton
Greetings Blood Bowl fans!
Blocknroll presents his Birthday Bash for your enjoyment!
3 games of Blood Bowl, to be played in a most friendly and
enjoyable fashion.
Followed by Curry and drinks for those who wish, curry
soon after tournament closes.
Cost: £10. £5 of this goes to our hosts Musketballs, and £5
towards prizes/donuts etc payment by PayPal friends and
family to robincaddy@hotmail.com
Running Order:
First game 10:30 – 1245
Lunch 1245-115
Second Game 115 to 330
Third Game 345- 545
Venue Closes at 6pm
Curry 630/45/7pm (allowing time for travelling coaches to check in,
shower etc)
What you need: your roster, your team (beg borrow steal 3d print
the relevant minis, no need for them to be painted) some lunch, dice.
Pitches are at the club, they also sell soft drinks, chocolate bars teas
coffees etc There are places nearish you can get some food, but at
least 5-10 minutes walk, not 1-2 minutes.
I am pretty sure this will be a UK first NAF Draft tournament, as
such please be considerate to the Tournament Organiser if there are
any little hiccups. I will always try to do the best common sense fairest thing, but at the end of the day the final decision will be mine.
On the day:
The first round will be drawn randomly, after that it will be Swiss.
3 points for a win, one for a draw, 0 for a loss
Tie breakers will be 1. Head to Head, 2 Strength of Schedule, 3 Combined TD and Cas Difference.
Fouls, the crowd etc all count for Cas totals.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd, Most Tds, Most Cas, Wooden Spoon.
Best painted will be awarded for NAF purposes.
The draft will take place on whatsapp group, there is also a discussion group. If I’ve missed anything here please let me know!
The Format:
In the Blood Bowl Draft format, each coach drafts a pool of twelve
players from all of the available Blood Bowl player types:
★ Each distinct player type may only be drafted once (e.g. one Wardancer is drafted).
★ In the case of player types that are duplicated on different race rosters, all versions are available (e.g. both the Goblin Team Troll and
Orc Team Troll can be selected).
★ The draft will consist of all 10 Coaches in one pod.
★ Draft order should be determined randomly. Drafting proceeds
in a ‘snake’ format with the coach who selects first in round 1 of the
draft selecting last in round 2 and the coach who selects last in round
1 selecting first in round 2, etc.
★ Drafting will continue for twelve rounds, giving each coach a pool
of 12 available player types to choose from.
TEAM CREATION
Following the draft, each coach assembles their roster using the
following rules:
★ Team Value is 1,150,000 GC.
★ Each of the twelve drafted player types is available for hire as a 0-1
positional.
★ Drafted players are hired at normal cost.
Coaches must assemble a team with a minimum of 11 players. All 12
drafted players may be used.
★ Team re-rolls may be purchased for 70,000 GC (the drafted players
are not used to playing together, hence the high price!).
★ Coaching staff and Fan Factor may be purchased as usual, as well as
Apothecaries, Assistant Coaches and Cheerleaders. Bribes are available, and if your team contains a Goblin or Snotling player with Secret
Weapon the bribes are 50,000 instead of 100,000.
★ All other inducements are prohibited.
★ As play progresses, the drafted players begin to sober up and regain
some of their forgotten skills. Before the first match of the tournament,
two players may be given an additional normal skill. Before the second
game one player may be given a “double” skill. Before game three two
more players may each be given a “normal” skill. (No player may have
more than one additional skill throughout the tournament. )
★ No accounting for taste! A player with the Bloodlust skill may bite
any player that normally has 0-16 availability.
★ All players have the trait: Animosity. For the purposes of the Animosity trait, only players from the same roster would count as being
the same race (an Underworld Skaven Lineman would need to roll for
Animosity when attempting to give the ball to a Skaven Gutter Runner).
