Ruleset Document

Information
Event: 3-round Tournament, with 2 hours, 15 minutes per round.

Team Value: 1.15m gold to be used on the initial Team Build. Teams will also receive an additional amount of gold to be spent on Skills or otherwise on the Team Build, based on Tier. Individual players may have at most Two (2) added skills. There is no limit to the number of times a skill may be added to a team. Skills must be chosen, and cannot be rolled randomly.
Tier 1: +120k gold
Tier 2: +160k gold
Tier 3: +200k gold

Star Players: Players may hire One (1) Star Player for their team. A roster must include 11 players before a Star Player may be hired. The Highlander Rule will not be in effect.

Inducements: All Inducements included in the Blood Bowl and Deathzone rule books are allowed, with the exception of Wizards, Giants, and Mercenaries.

Special Rules
Hurricane Season: All games will be played in the Pouring Rain. This weather will not change, for any reason.

Sticky Gloves: Some clever players thought to prepare for this occasion (it happens every year, after all), and have doctored some of their equipment to help deal with the inclement weather. Players with the "Sure Hands" skill ignore the consequences of pouring rain.

Special Ball - Dwarven Masterhewn Ball: Because of the heavy winds, a normal ball just won't work! To solve this problem, the teams will be supplied with a heavy, Dwarven Masterhewn Ball to help combat the heavy winds. Players may not attempt Long Bomb or Hail Mary Passes with this ball. If a player fails to catch the ball during a Pass action, roll a D6. If the result is equal to or higher than the player's ST characteristic (or a natural 6), the player is Knocked Down and suffers an armor roll. If, after Deviating or Scattering, the Master-hewn Ball lands in a square occupied by a Prone or Stunned player, an Armor roll is made against that player.

Doppelgangers?!: The Highlander rule will not be in effect. However, if two of the same Star Player are ever played against one another, one of them has to be a dirty fake! If both players have rostered the same star player, the first Star Player to be Sent Off, Knocked Out, or Casualtied was obviously the fake, and its coach receives one additional re-roll as the team redoubles its effort to make up for having wasted their precious budget on that con. We didn't need your help, anyway!

Adjusted Kick-off Event - Strong Winds: The Changing Weather kick-off event is replaced with "Strong Winds". The wind blows in strong, unpredictable patterns, making it difficult to move effectively. Until the end of the Drive, players may not Rush if that movement would take them closer to the opposing team's End Zone.
