Tie breaker, in order: Strength of Schedule, Touchdown Difference, Casualty Difference, Goblins?*, Best of 5 Dice Off.
*By “Goblins?” I mean if the coaches are still tied at this point and one of the tied coaches played Goblins, the Goblin
coach wins the tie break. Skip this if all or none of the tied coaches played Goblins.
Roster Creation:
1,150,000 GP to buy players, rerolls, sideline staff and inducements
Each team is in a tier:
Tier 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld,
Wood Elf
Tier 2: Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic
Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Tomb Kings, Vampire
Tier 3: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling
Each team will have skills to allocate to their players – see Page 72 of The Official Rules book. They are as follows:
Tier 1: 100,000 GP to buy skills
Tier 2: 120,000 GP to buy skills
Tier 3: 160,000 GP to buy skills
• Only Chosen Primary and Chosen Secondary skills are allowed. EXCEPTION: Tier 3 team may purchase stat
upgrades.
o A player given a stat upgrade cannot have any other skills nor stat upgrades given to them
o A given stat upgrade can only be selected once, but you can have more than one different stat upgrade
in the team. Example: One +AG Halfling Hopeful, one +MA Halfling Catcher, one +PA Halfling Hefty
etc.
• Exactly one player can be given a maximum of six given skills – players can only reach Legend!
• A given skill can only be selected twice in the team – no guard or block spam!
• Star players cannot be given skills or stat upgrades
Inducements:
Only the following inducements are permitted:
Official Rules: Biased Referee*, Bloodweiser Kegs, Bribes, Halfling Master Chef, Mortuary Assistant, Plague Doctor,
Riotous Rookies, Star Player**, Wandering Apothecaries, Weather Mage.
Death Zone: All ‘Other Inducements’ (Pages 36-39) except Side Bet. Mercenaries are not permitted.
*The Biased Referee must be the one stated on Page 95 of The Official Rules book. No fancy referees from the Death
Zone book!
** Only Tier 3 teams may take a maximum of one star player. Teams must buy 11 rostered players before taking a star
player.
One Dedicated Fan can be bought for 5k. Additional Dedicated Fans cost 10k.
You must check your 1st round opponent’s roster for any errors. Any rosters found to be illegal after this will be
disqualified from winning any awards. Rosters must be clear to read (digital is preferable) and available for your
opponent to view at any time.
Star Player Levy:
As we all know, some star players are a bit too good/ubiquitous. As such, any team inducing one of the following star
players has their skill budget slashed to 80,000 GP and can only purchase Chosen Primary skills:
• Griff Oberwald
• Hakflem
• Morg ‘n’ Thorg
Awards:

* Any casualty counts towards Most Casualties, even if the player recovers from the injury for any reason e.g., regen
or apothecary. So get fouling, crowd pushing and chainsawing!
** Only Tier 3 teams are eligible for the stunty cup i.e. Halflings, Goblins, Ogres and Snotlings.
Coaches cannot win more than one Major Award. Coaches can win more than one Minor Award. The Goblin Champion
award goes to the highest placed Goblin team! Why? Because I love goblins, that’s why.
Transport Links:
There are no direct public transport links but if arranged in advance I am more than happy to run people to and from
Wareham train station.
Further Notices:
Please bring:
• A painted team (minimum 3 colours)
• Board(s) and dugouts
• Dice, tokens and templates
• Roster (preferably digital, but if printed please limit to one copy)
The venue is booked for the entire day and evening and the bar area will still be open to the public throughout.
Everyone is welcome to stay for games, pints and catch ups after the event concludes, however, an evening meal will
not be planned and there are no shops or takeaway outlets in Bloxworth, so please be aware. The closest small
village shop is in Bere Regis (open 9am – 5pm Saturdays). Takeaway outlets and shops can be found in nearby
Wareham, Wool, Upton and (if you want to travel a little further; approx. 15-20 min drive) Dorchester or Poole.
Please let me know as soon as possible (before March!) of any dietary requirements you have and I’ll ensure you are
catered for.
Any questions/enquiries about the tournament rules or venue, fire away. Can’t wait to see you all there! :)
