Food:
There will NOT be Lunch provided because there are several options close by:
Next door is both a Wetherspoons and a KFC. In addition, a McDonalds is a couple of hundred yards away.
I will however provide a voucher that will get a free drink for everyone on each day and we will be providing some light goodies.
It is requested that you DO NOT bring outside food into the venue. The venue sells a very good selection of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks.
Travel and Hotels
Car parking for those that drive is limited on site (10 spaces), however across the road there is a multi story car park which will cost around £5 a day.
For those that are not able to commute, there are plenty of hotels in the area, the closest is 1 mile away.
Here are two suggested hotels.

Streaming:
The tournament will have a dedicated Twitch Stream, covering a selected game each round.
Details on this will be released closer to the time.
If you Do Not want to be covered, that is completely fine, just let us know and we will cover someone else. If you do not speak up, the default is you are ok with being streamed (we would talk to you prior to the round starting and we think you might notice the cameras, so it’s unlikely to happen to you by accident!)
Trade Stands
I am looking to have some trade stand(s) at the event, but have not yet finalised anything. I hope to be able to provide things that people might want - skill bands, dice, pitches, dice cups and teams. However this is still being worked on.

Evening Entertainment
Friday Night
I will be partaking in Friday night food - there are two nandos nearby - and the one in Mansfield city centre will be where I will be going.
Saturday night
The venue is going to stay open in the evening on Saturday night so people are welcome to bring other board games to play. I can arrange for take away food if people are staying there. We will arrange this on Saturday morning. |
