Ruleset Document

Information
*please see the document for full tournament details- below is a summary of the key details*

General Information
Tavern Brawl will be held on Sunday 22nd January 2023 at The Outpost, Sheffield, S3 8AU. The venue has free on-street parking nearby, lunch can be ordered from Heist Brew Co. at a discounted rate, and additional drinks and snacks are available to purchase on site.

Rules
We will be using the ruleset from an upcoming major tournament but as a single coach rather than squad-based format. For this Tavern Brawl we will be using the UKTC 2023 ruleset.
http://www.bbuktc.com/rules/

Tavern Brawl is using the most up-to-date rosters for all teams, meaning Spike 14’s Norse and Spike 15’s Amazons are in play. Teams of Legend are linked at the end of this document.

Game timings will be as follows:
10:00 to 10:15 Registration
10:15 to 12:30 Game One
12:30 to 13:30 Lunch
13:30 to 15:45 Game Two
15:45 to 16:00 Break
16:00 to 18:15 Game Three
18:15 to 18:45 Awards and close

Please note that in order to run the event on time, we may not be able to include anyone that arrives after the registration period has closed in the initial round one draw.

Players may play into their lunch break should both players agree. Chess clocks will be encouraged should games be in danger of running over time.

Rosters and team building
Please see the UKTC rules package - http://www.bbuktc.com/rules/

Scoring and tiebreakers
These will be handled as per the “Score” and “Tiebreakers” section of the UKTC Rules, but note that this is a single player event - please regard any mention of ‘Team’ as reference to the individual player.
