The Best Utrechtian Blood Bowl League Ever (BUBBLE) would like to invite you to the BUBBLE Kingsbowl 2523 tournament. We celebrate the rivalry between the monarchist and republican camps in The Netherlands with this all but peaceful resurrection tournament over 3 rounds.
Starting time: 10:00 (see Rules pack for full timetable)
Bar: At the venue there is a bar with various lunch, snacks and drinks available during the tournament. Lunch is not included in the entrance fee
Team creation:
- 1,060,000 GP
- Slann and Teams of Legend are allowed (except for Amazon and Norse)
- New Khorne, Norse and Amazon rosters are in use
- All Inducements from the Official Rules book, Almanacs, Death Zones and Spike magazines are allowed except Star Players, Mercenary Players and Special Plays cards. You need to bring the official printed rulesbook/magazine when you use any of these Inducements.
Additional ruleset
Besides the basic team creation your team has to represent either a ‘Monarchy’ or ‘Republic’ and use the related additional ruleset below.
Monarchy
- Assign 1 player* to be your ‘King’
- Your King needs to wear a crown
- Assign 1 Chosen Secondary** skill and 3 Chosen Primary skills to your King
- Each game you will have access to 1 free ‘Royal Apothecary’. The Royal Apothecary works as a regular Apothecary but can only be used for your King. This does not limit the use of regular Apothecaries during the game
Republic
- Assign 1 player* to be your ‘President’
- Assign 1 Chosen Secondary** skill to your President
- Assign 3 other players* to be your ‘Ministers’
- Assign 1 Chosen Primary skill to each of your ministers
- You can only choose each specific skill once (e.g. max 1x Guard, 1x Block, etc)
* You can only assign a player from the ‘Hiring players’ step (not a player that was f.i. added by an inducement)
** Instead of a chosen secondary skill, you are allowed to assign a primary skill instead
Pairing:
First round will be random but you won't play anyone from your own home town or league. After the first round swiss pairing will be used. Please note that tie breakers will not be taken into account in the pairing system.
Scoring:
Winning a game will earn you 2 points and a draw will earn you 1. The player with the most points on the day will be crowned champion. In case of more than one coach at a certain amount of points, the tiebreakers will be: SOS (Sum of Opponent Scores), Net touchdowns + Net casualties, Largest head circumference (who fits the largest crown)

How to register:
Send an e-mail to bubble.utrecht@gmail.com stating you wish to attend. Please register before 15 April 2023 to allow for a smooth organization part. We will send a payment request out at that moment. Please submit your name, NAF nickname, NAF number and phone number. There is no need to send your roster in advance of the tournament, but we can check it if you like. Please bring a copy of your roster to be checked before the tournament.
