Tis the season and Nuffle is the gift that keeps on giving. Whether the gifts are good or not there is only one way to find out…. Smash the elf carrying the package!!
We will be using the 2023 NAF official tournament rules found here: https://www.thenaf.net/tournaments/nafdocs/
Bring your painted team. Feel free to use any team from any designer.
Players must be clearly marked and numbered.
All 29 NAF approved races will be allowed, which includes Slann/Kislev. Also, only the new GW Norse and Amazon teams will be allowed.

Team Building:
1,100,000 Must field 11 regular players. Then can add 1 star player and any inducements they wish to buy.
Allowed Inducements: all 2020 core Rulebook inducements except for the wizard. bribes, kegs, halfling master chef, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecary, mortuary assistant., riotous rookies.
Skill package of 6 primary skills or 3 secondary skills can be added to roster at no charge limit of one per player.
Games will all be played using the winter weather table in the death zone rulebook.
2 hour 15 minute round timer will be in place.
3 round limit.
Special rules:
1. At the start of the game after the kickoff but before turn 1 the kicking team rolls a d6. On a 4+ the elf comes onto the pitch on your side and on a 3 or less comes in on the receiving teams side. The elf will then walk onto the pitch moved by the inactive coach.
2. To determine where thew elf enters the pitch roll a d6 and count backwards from the LOS and start on the side of the pitch that many squares away from the LOS.
3. At the end of each players turn the inactive coach will move the elf. The elf will move his full MA and head toward the opposite sideline in the shortest distance possible. The elf will never end its movement in base contact with another player. It should move away from players whenever able to do so.
4. The elf will never rush, blitz, or attempt to throw a block. They simply want to deliver the present off the pitch.
5. Players can cause a casualty against the elf by any means they see fit. Non Block caused casualties will also count. Once the elf is removed as a casualty roll on the gift chart below to see what they had.
6. If the elf leaves the pitch or is removed another one will enter the pitch from the opposite half next turn.
7. Each team will get an ALL HAIL NUFFLE special action where they are able to blitz/foul the elf without using their blitz/foul for the turn. They must make a block/foul action against the elf as part of this action and may not continue to move after the block/foul action.

(*) The elf automatically passes agility tests to dodge.
True grit: immune to stuns and knock outs.
Gift Chart:
1. Bomb – THe player who found this is automatically hit. Players in adjacent squares are placed prone and hit on a 4+. Players hit by the bomb suffer a +1 to either the armor or injury roll.
2. Extra Ball – You gain possession of a ball. For the remainder of the drive you may try and score a touchdown with this ball regardless if you have the regular ball or not.
3. Lump of Coal – A huge lump of coal hits this player. Make an injury roll against this player.
4. McMurtys Coupon – The team gets an extra re-roll to use once for the remainder for the game.
5. Spoiled Egg Nog – Your very thirsty but that didn’t taste like you thought. Roll on the lasting injury chart and suffer the corresponding stat decrease. This player is not removed from the pitch.
6. Ultimate Smelling Salts – Players in the KO box will automatically recover from KO rolls and be ready to go at the start of the next drive.
7. Naughty List – You see your name on the naughty list. Your player is disgusted and lose motivation to play. Place this player in the reserves box.
8. Secret Weapons Cache – You found secret weapons supply. Choose either the Dagger (stab) Chainsaw, Ball and Chain or Bombardier. Gain the secret weapon trait. At the end of the current drive you lose whatever your carrying and are sent off on a roll of 3 or less on a d6.
9. Jack in the Box – you turn the crank and when the music stops… POW!!! A spring loaded boxing glove hits you right in the kisser. Make an injury roll with a +1 modifier as it was indeed a mighty blow.
10. Prayers to Nuffle deck – Roll on the prayers to nuffle table. You can add or subtract 1 to the roll and choose the card you want. Card is put n play as directed.
11. Unlucky 8 ball – You shake the ball and it always comes up lose a re-roll. Lose a team re-reroll immediately. If you have used them already lose one in the next half.
12. Athletic Enhancement Vitamins – Increase one stat of your choice by 1 for the remainder of the game.
