Background
Blood Bowl, the one game in the old world that allows a player to start from nothing and work their way to shining glory on the pitch. Some progress a little, many become famous but it’s a rare feat indeed to become a true legendary star of the game. Welcome to the Star Player Showcase!

Parking:
Parking: There is limited parking at the venue plus some on Bessemer Road which is at the crossroads a couple of hundred yards down Sloper Road from Firestorm games.
Allan's' printers is not open at the weekend and some patrons seem to use that on busy days, it is next to Firestorm Games but this is at your own risk.
There is also the large retail park just behind Firestorm Games by Cardiff City's stadium with a public path that connects to Sloper Road. Parking there is only for limited time and no return but you can park in the Asda car park there and pay for the day or weekend.

General Format
Team Size: 1.2 Million Rounds: 6
Star Player Showcase is being run using the latest NAF Approved Rules All NAF approved teams may be used
Coaches have a maximum of 1,200,000 to build their team and teams must consist of a minimum of 11 players. Star Players are not allowed. Mercs are not allowed
Your team must be painted with a minimum of three colours and based. The all models must be numbered as per the roster.
All models must be WYSIWYG and proxies are not allowed unless it's suitably clear what is what and thematic. Please contact the organisers if you have concerns
Each team has 4 normal skills and 2 double skills (can be taken as single instead) to be assigned throughout the team Stacking of these skills is not allowed. In addition, one player on the team who doesn’t get one of the previous six skills, will get 6 skills for themselves making them the teams star player.
The Star gets 3 normal skills, 2 double skills and one stat upgrade. The stat can be exchanged for a double or single skill and the doubles may be exchanged for singles. The star must take all six upgrades.
There will be a stunty cup for Ogres, Goblins, Halflings, Snotlings and Underworld with no Skaven.
There is a strict 2 and a half hour time limit for each game. If an official believes that a game will not be completed within the allotted time they may enforce the 4 minute rule.
All inducements except for wizards, random cards and special coaches can be used.
All players will be healed back to full starting strength before each match
Tournament Scoring
Points for the games will be awarded accordingly:
3 points for a win
1 points for a draw
0 point for a loss
-15 points for conceding
Head to Head result will be used in the event of a tiebreaker situation followed by the strength of schedule and touchdowns.

Ticket Prices
Ticket Price is £32 for NAF members and £37 for non-members for the weekend, this cost includes lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The deadline for payments and rosters is Friday 22nd September
