Prairie Bowl is a three round Swiss-Style resurrection Blood Bowl tournament. The first game will be determined by a random matchup. The remaining games will be determined by tournament points.

Registration: 9:00-9:30
Game 1: 9:30-11:45
Lunch Break: 11:45-1:00
Game 2: 1:00-3:15
Round Pairing: 3:15-3:30
Game 3: 3:30-5:45
Tournament Calculations/Awards Presentation: 5:45 - 6:15
When time is called the current turn will be finished and then the game will conclude.

BASIC RULES & TEAM CREATION:
All Blood Bowl 2020 teams from the Second Season Rulebook, Teams of Legend pdf, as well as Spike! Journal teams that have Blood Bowl 2020 rules may be used. If a Teams of Legend team has updated rules, you must use the updated rules.The Slann team approved by the NAF may be used as well. This is a resurrection style tournament. No SPP will be earned during games and injuries will not carry over to the next game. Your team will reset to your initial roster at the start of each match. The Highlander rule will NOT be in effect. If you hire the same Star as your opponent you may both field the star.
You have 1,200,000 gp to spend on your team
You may hire 1 - 2 Star Players depending on your tier but you must first have 11 players rostered before hiring a star player
Teams can purchase Rerolls, Apothecaries (if allowed), Assistant Coaches, Cheerleaders and Dedicated Fans
0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs may be purchased
0-3 Bribes may be purchased
Only Halfings may hire a Halfling Master Chef
Riotous Rookies may be taken by teams with the Low Cost Linemen Special rule
Only the listed inducements may be purchased
BONUSES
Teams that are fully painted (3 colour minimum): +1 Assistant Coach
All players bases are painted and/or flocked: +1 Cheerleader
SKILLS
Tier one teams will be given 6 Skill Points
Tier two teams will be given 8 Skill Points
Tier three teams will be given 10 Skill Points
Primary Skills cost 1 Skill Point
Secondary Skills cost 2 Skill Points
Each skill can be taken a maximum of 3 times.
Only one additional skill per player. Stunty Teams may stack up to two skills on two players.
Tier one teams: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens and Wood Elves.
Tier two teams: Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Slann, Tomb Kings and Vampire
Tier Three: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre and Snotlings
Please have a way to indicate the purchased skills of your players that makes it easy for your
opponent to identify which player has which skill. Bands will be provided if you need them.
HIRING STAR PLAYERS
Tier one teams may hire up to one Star Player/Mega Star
Tier two and three teams may hire up to two Star Players/Mega Stars
Each Star Player will cost 2 of your Skill Points in addition to their gold cost
Each Mega Star will cost 4 of your Skill Points in addition to their gold cost
Mega Stars: Bomber Dribblesnot, Deeproot Strongbranch, Griff Oberwald, Hakflem Skuttle Spike, Kreek ‘the Verminator’ Rustgouger and Morg ‘N’ Thorg
PAIRING AND SCORING
The first round of matches will be randomized. Each following round will be determined through Swiss pairings. Points are awarded as follows:
Win - 65 points
Draw - 25 points
Loss - 0 points
Tiebreakers are as follows: TD differential, Total Casualties, Total TD’s and finally Casualty differential
CASUALTIES
The following skills/actions count as Casualties for scoring tournament points:
Blocks
Fouls
Pushing a player into the crowd
Projectile Vomit
Stabs
Chainsaws
Bombardier
Ball and Chain
Diving Tackle
Thrown/Kicked team-mate hitting an opposition player
Arm Bar
If your player uses an active skill to cause a casualty it will count.

Golden Gladiator - Best presentation as voted on by the players
Best Stunty Coach (4 stunty teams required)
Blood Bowl Bingo Card Winner
Best Sportsmanship - Voted on by the players. May be anyone at the tournament
Wooden Spoon - Lowest tournament points
Share the Wealth Rules - No coach can win multiple prizes except for Wooden Spoon, Best Painted, Best Sportsmanship or Bingo Card Winner
$3 from every entry fee will be donated to the Church for allowing us to use the basement.
The remaining money collected for the tournament will be awarded as prizes.
Depending on the turn out, more prize categories may be added.
