Tournament Schedule:
The weekend will feature a five game, swiss style, resurrection tournament. First games will be determined by random matchup. The remaining games will be determined based on tournament points.
Day 1 May 6th
9:00 am – Registration Begins
9:30 am – First Game
12:00 pm – Lunch Break
1:00 pm – Second Game
3:30 pm – Break
3:45 pm – Third Game
Day 2 May 7th
9:00 am – Fourth Game
11:30 am – Lunch Break, and Best Painted Judging
12:30 pm – Fifth Game
3:30 pm – Awards and Wrap up
4:00 pm – Event Ends
What to Bring:
- Painted team with suitable models
- Skill rings or another appropriate way to identify skills/positions
- Block Dice
- D6’s, D8, D12, D16
- 3 copies of your team roster including skill purchases and inducements
Tournament Rules:
- Weather table: 2020 standard table
- Kick off chart: 2020 standard table
- Prayers to Nuffle: Exhibition play table page 103 of the Bloodbowl 2020 core rulebook
- Setting up too many players: As detailed on page 40 of the Bloobowl 2020 core rulebook. If no turns have been played simply correct the mistake, if it is seen later the opposing coach decides which model(s) will be sent off for the match.
- No Wizards, referees, special play cards, special balls, special pitch rules, sponsorships, or infamous coaching staff
Teams will resurrect at the end of each game. No SPP’s, injuries, or any roster changes carry over between games.
Games will have a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Turn time limits or chess clocks may be imposed if a game is at risk of going over the time limit.
Players must agree on cocked die rules, the use if dice cups and/or sharing dice at the start of the match.
If there are any disagreements or rules disputes, the tournament directors will be standing by to assist.
Teams with the ability to raise dead players will be allowed to do so but will not carry forward to other matches.
Team Building:
- All NAF approved teams are available to play, this includes the Games Workshop team of legend rosters
- Coaches get 1.2 million gold to construct their rosters
- Coaches must play with a minimum of 11 players
- Coaches may purchase Rerolls, apothecaries (if allowed), assistant coaches, cheerleaders, dedicated fans, or bribes
- Chefs may only be purchased by halfling teams
- Riotous Rookies and Heady Brew are available to teams that are allowed that inducement
- No other inducements may be purchased
Star Players:
- Star players may be purchased as part of a roster
- Star players are not ‘highlander’ and may be present on both coaches’ rosters
- 11 roster players must be bought before you may purchase stars
- A maximum of 2 star players may be taken per roster
Mega Star Players:
- Mega Stars may be hired but are only available to Tier 3 and 4 teams
- A Mega Star will use up both star player spots on a roster

Stunty Cup: If we have at least 2 stunty squads committed before April 15th
- Stunty Teams will play for their own cup while still participating in the main tournament
- Stunty teams are defined by ST 5 models and ST 2 or lower models with Right Stuff, Stunty, and/or Titchy
- Stunty Teams include all Tier 4 teams listed above plus Snottlings
Glittering Prizes:
- Best Overall, the Coach with the most tournament points
- Runner up, the coach with the second most tournament point
- Stunty Cup, the Stunty team with the most tournament points
- Best Offence, the coach who scored the most touchdowns
- Best Defence, the coach with the least number of touchdowns against
- Most Casualties, the coach who’s inflicted the most Casualties
- Wooden Spoon, the coach with the fewest tournament points
Community Choice Awards:
- Best Painted: voting done day 2 at lunch
- Best Sport: voting done after game 5
Tie Breakers:
- Head-to-Head record (if applicable)
- W-L-T recod
- Touchdown difference
- Casualty difference
Swag and Prizes:
- Share the Wealth, Coaches may only win 1 trophy
- Every dollar collected will be given back to the players in the form of prizes |
