Team Creation
Coaches have 600k to spend on players, backroom staff and rerolls. There are a number of rules to follow when creating a team –
• Teams must have a minimum of 7 players on the roster and a maximum of 11
• Coaches may hire no more than 4 specialist positionals on their teams. Everyone else must be the equivalent of linemen (the 0-12 or 0-16 position). No more than 2 of the same positional may be hired. Ogres, Chaos and Vampires are exempt from this rule as their choices are so limited.
• Rerolls cost double the normal amount, a Human teams rerolls for instance would cost 100k and not 50k
• No Star Players are allowed or Legendary side-line staff
We will be using the GW tiers for BB7s, Slann count as tier 2.
Tier 1 teams get no additional skills.
Tier 2 teams get 1 primary skill of their choice.
Tier 3 teams get 2 primary skills of their choice. Stunty Lizardmen, Black Orcs and Underworlds count as tier 3.
Games
The rule changes for BB7s are listed below. On the night there will be 3 games, each lasting no more than one hour. The turn around between games will be as quick as possible. The first round will be random and afterwards it will be done on Swiss.
The 7 Wounders of the World
7 Wounders of the World is a tournament only for the most blood thirsty, depraved, violent psychopaths insane enough to step onto the astro-granite.
To represent this riot of blood and brutal dismemberment, each coach will be given a card at the start of the tournament and a pen. On the card will be 7 wounder tokens. Each time a coach uses a wounder token they have to cross it out until all 7 are gone. When a coach uses their wounder tokens is entirely up to them . . . they can spread them between 3 games or they can play them all in one match. However, once they are gone, they are gone!
Wounder tokens may be spent on any hit resulting from a block, blitz, stab or secret weapon (yes, even chainsaw). Using a wounder token allows a coach to reroll AV – but only AV, you cannot use one on an injury roll.
There are 6 normal wounder tokens and a single Golden Wounder (cue heavenly angelic choruses going aaaah . . . oooohhhh . . . . aaahhhhhh). The Golden Wounder is an automatic break of AV, no roll required. You still have to roll injury as normal.
