Welcome to our FOURTH Dunbar Sevens tournament - this time we’re swapping the frozen waste for sand, sunshine and waves!
Format
A one-day tournament of FOUR matches on Saturday 14th October 2023, held in the Belhaven Church Hall (LHS of church), DUNBAR.

Tournament Details
2020 ruleset, DeathZone Blood Bowl Sevens rules & Teams of Legend PDF.
Round 1 paired randomly, subsequent rounds will be paired in a Swiss Format.
A resurrection tournament: All teams reset after every game, all injured or dead players are healed.
Team Creation
Coaches can select any NAF approved team, spending up to 600,000GP in Team Value, with the following additional restrictions:
A Team can have a maximum of 0-4 non-lineman players in total.
A Team must have at least 7 players, and no more than 11 on its roster.
Rerolls cost double their normal price.
We’re using the Death Zone 7s Inducements, which must be purchased during team creation and count towards the Team’s total value, with the following restrictions:
Star Players cannot be taken, except by stunty (tier 3) teams and do not count towards the 7-player team minimum.
Teams with the ‘Low-Cost Linemen’ rule may purchase a Rowdy Rookies inducement for a cost of 50,000GP, which works as Riotous Rookies, but with a reduced effect of 1D3+1 (this is 7s!)
No Special Play cards or mercenaries.
SKILLS!
Sevens teams are notoriously poor. However, one of your team is a RINGER!
You can pick ONE player to have ONE Primary Skill.
Stunty (tier 3) teams have TWO Primary Skills. Either TWO players with ONE apiece or ONE player with TWO skills.
No Leader skill may be chosen.

Ticket price is £5 for NAF members, £10 non-NAF. To enter, use PayPal and send your money tomtremendous@gmail.com and ensure you choose 'Friends and Family'. INCLUDE your NAF details & email address in accompanying message.

A brilliant sunny day in Dunbar. Coaches travelling from far afield as Ayrshire AND Harrogate made their way to the finest Scottish East Coast stadium for an exhilarating day of sevens action, (arguably HOW the game should be played!)
14 skilled coaches battled it out. Such was the level, there were seven coaches all in contention going into the final round!
But as always, Bloodbowl was the true winner. :D
Thanks everyone for coming, we'll do it again in the winter, when the seas freeze over and we play DUNBOWL ON ICE. |
