Welcome to the Eastern Cup
The Eastern Cup is a one day resurrection Blood Bowl Tournament being held on Saturday 26th August at the House of War, 52 Maroondah Hwy in Ringwood Victoria.
Registration
Registration for this event requires an upfront payment and is limited to the first 40 registered coaches.
Entry Fee
The cost of this event is $25.
Please register for the event by sending an email to easterncupbb@gmail.com. I will then send bank details to finalise payment with the reference as “Your name – EC”
Timings
• Registration 09:30 to 09:40
• Match 1 09:40 to 11:55
• Lunch Break 11:55 to 12:25
• Match 2 12:25 to 14:40
• Match 3 14:50 to 17:05
• Awards 17:15 to 17:30
Tournament Format
This is a resurrection format, and therefore all teams will start each match as rostered (no star player points or casualties are applied).
Matches will be held to a 2 hours 15 mins time limit, with coaches being reminded at both 30 and 15 minutes remaining. Once final time has been called coaches will be given up to 5 minutes to finish their current turn being played and then the game must end.
Tournament Match-Ups
Coaches will be paired randomly for the first match, with the subsequent matches being paired using Swiss pairing to match up coaches with a similar record.
Tournament Scoring
Each round is scored as follows:
Win – 50 points
Draw – 25 points
Loss – 10 points
Tie Breakers
In the event that two or more coaches are tied at the end of the completion then the following tie breakers are to be used in the following order:
1. Strength of schedule
2. Touchdown differential
3. Casualty differential
What to Bring
Please bring a team that is clearly marked and have identifiable player types and at least two copies for your team sheet for you and your opponent.
Three Block dice, two D6, one D8 and one D16 dice, Turn, Score and Reroll markers, Throw-in, Scatter, Pass templates (or equivalent), a ball or ball token, a Pitch and Dugouts.
Prayers to Nuffle Table
Any result of Cheering Fans on the Kick-Off event table will use the amended Prayer to Nuffle table found on 103 of the Official Rules
Rules Queries
If, at anytime, you are faced with a situation that can’t be resolved between coaches with the help of the rule book, please speak to the Tournament Organiser (TO). The TO’s decision is final and will be applied for the duration of the tournament.

• CHAMPION – Overall Winner (most Tournament Points).
• RUNNER-UP – Second (with the second most Tournament Points)
• MOST TOUCHDOWNS – Most Touchdowns Scored
• MOST CASUALTIES – Most Casualties Caused
NAF sanctioned Tournament
I intend this to be a NAF Sanctioned event, so would prefer all of the coaches attending to be registered with the NAF. If you have any concerns or require support in registering with the NAF before the event please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Eastern Cup will be allowing the following Rosters

• Khorne as they appear in Spike 13
• Norse as they appear in Spike 14
• Amazon as they appear in Spike 15
• Slann as they appear in the NAF ‘Rules for Tournaments’
• Chaos Dwarves, High Elves, Tomb Kings & Vampires as they appear in the GW Teams of Legend PDF.
New Releases
If new teams are released by Games Workshop, the player pack will be updated, but the intention is to allow all new Games Workshop rules updates into the event until the 1st August 2023.
Team Value 1,100,000 GP
All teams will be allowed to spend 1.1 million gold pieces to draft their team with the conditions below.
Dedicated Fans
Team drafted for the Eastern Cup will have a Dedicated Fans characteristic of 0. This can still be improved up to a maximum of 6, at the cost of 10,000 gold pieces per improvement.
Allowed Inducements
Inducements are purchased during team creation, and are considered a permanent part of the team and can be used each game.
0-1 Eastern Cup Star Players maybe selected and can be used by both teams in a match
Star Players, Famous Coaching Staff, Special Play Cards, Unlimited Mercenaries and any rules from Death Zone 2021 can not be taken.
Additional Skills
All Teams will be allowed to give their players a number of additional skills as listed below.
These skills do not affect Team Value in any way.
• Tier 1: 5 Primary Skills
• Tier 2: 4 Primary Skills & 2 Secondary Skills
• Tier 3: 5 Primary Skills & 2 Secondary Skills
Notes:
• No Player may receive more than 1 Skill.
• A Primary Skill may be selected instead of a Secondary Skill if the coach desires.
• Eastern Cup Star Players cannot be given Skills.

Each Team has been given a Tier, but we include a list here for ease.

Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings
