This is a one-day, five-round Blood Bowl Sevens progression league for 8 coaches – taking place on Sunday 6th August at the Pigmar Game Day, New Oriel Hall.

Team Creation
Team creation follows the standard rules in Death Zone:
• Maximum 4x non-lineman positionals
• Minimum 7x and maximum 11x players
• Re-rolls and sideline staff cost double
• Star Players are not available
Except:
• Coaches have 650k CP starting budget with which to build their teams
• Sevens Inducements (as listed on DZ p. 93) can be purchased from your starting Copper and added to your roster permanently

Progression
This is a progressions format, with the following special rules:
• Resurrection: after each game, all players return to full health (no MNG, no injuries or deaths are permanent); all raised dead or Rotters crumble to dust and are lost
• Scouting: players will never be scouted to the major leagues and will remain on their teams throughout
• Post-game sequence: no winnings are awarded, Dedicated Fans are neither gained nor lost
• Inducements: no inducements may be taken outside of those purchased with the starting team budget

Following the Round-Robin, the pairings will determine placements in a two-round Play-Off Bracket. The top 2 coaches from both Divisions will contest for the Sunday Sevens Grand Championship; the bottom 2 coaches from both Divisions will play for the Plate of Honour (and of course for the Wooden Spoon of Glory).

Play-Off Tie-Breaker: Do or Die Drive
Draws cannot be recorded in the Play-Offs. There must be a winner. But penalty kicks are LAAAAAME. Also, we’re on a clock so need to get this match finished in decent time.

If at the end of regular time the score is level, instead of a normal half of extra time, a Do or Die Drive will be played. Randomly determine kicking and receiving teams by dice-off (high roll receives). Set up teams as normal for extra time. (Team Re-Rolls and Leader Re-Rolls do not regenerate, but unused re-rolls carry over).

The Do or Die Drive will consist of four turns. The Kick-Off Event will automatically be Changing Weather (Perfect Weather). Once the Kick-Off is resolved, play proceeds as normal until either team scores, or until 4 turns are completed by both teams.

If the either team is able to score a TD, they win the game immediately. However, if the receiving team is unable to score within the Do or Die time frame, this will be recorded as a TD for the kicking team and the kicking team will win the game.
