NAF-sanctioned and the pairings will be Swiss-drawn after the first round,
which is random.

Limited to 24 players. To reserve your place please purchase a ticket by
sending £24 to loyn@me.com. Include your NAF name and number in the
notes. This payment will include NAF membership if you are new to the
NAF. Once we are full you will be placed on a reserve list.
Please note that no refunds will be given after 7 October 2023. On this date
all those remaining on the reserve list not allocated a place will be
refunded.

TEAM ROSTER
- Any of the teams in the BB2020 rulebook may used as well all the teams
released prior to the event via SPIKE! Magazines; Chaos Dwarves, High
Elves, Tomb Kings and Vampires may also be used, rules to be found in
the Teams of Legend PDF; finally, Slann may be used, rules to be found
on the NAF website.
- Coaches may spend up to 1.2 million gold on their team or 1.15 million
gold if they chose to roster 1 or more stars.
- No inducements may be taken aside from bribes (all teams - Bribery &
Corruption is in effect for those teams with access to it) and the Halfling
Master Chef, which may be taken by Halflings for 100k.
- There are no Tiers at FILTH-TOBER FEST, only tears. Bring your filth or
go home and cry to your mum (dice cups are useful if you need
something to fill with your salty tears).
- Players have 56 SPP to spend selecting skills for their teams (as per
page 71 of the BB2020 rulebook), you may take random skills and will
roll for these at the start of each game. Each player may take up to 20
SPP of skills (including stacking of skills). Secondaries may be taken,
but only after a player has already been allocated a primary skill (so will
cost 14 SPP).
- Up to 2 stars may be taken per team (once 11 players are rostered).
Stars may be selected from the BB2020 rule book or the most up-to-date
GW supplement. Pairs of stars count as 1, as per the most recent GW
FAQ. Stars may not be allocated additional SPP.
- The following stars are banned from the event and may not be taken by
any team: Morg ’n’ Thorg, Deeproot Strongbranch, Hakflem Skuttlespike,
Griff Oberwald, Bomber Dribblesnot and Cindy Piewhistle.
SCORING
- Win = 10pts
- Draw = 5pts
- Loss = 0pts
SPECIAL PLAYS
In addition to the above points, there will be 4 Special Play bonus points on
offer at the event. At the start you will receive 6 Special Play cards. You
MUST play just one of these cards in each game and each card may only be
played once. You will ONLY play 4 and DO NOT have to play all 6 over the
event. Both players will play a card face down and flip at the same time
after both teams are set up in the 1st half.
The Special Plays are as follows:
- Win a game by 2 or more Touchdowns
- Score a touchdown in the first 4 turns of EITHER half
- Stall for one turn before scoring a TD (as per the rules found on page 64
of the BB2020 rulebook)
- Cause 2 or more casualties in one game
- Remove a player from the pitch by fouling (KO or injury)
- At the start of the game nominate one player on your opponents team -
score this by removing that player from the pitch (KO or injury)
TIE BREAKS
In order to determine the final standings at the end of the event tiebreakers
will be applied as follows:
- Special Plays
- TDs for, then Cas for (a player in the injury box at any stage is a cas)
- TD difference, then Cas difference
- Strength of Schedule
- Fight to the death…or dice roll if both coaches don’t agree (boo!) |
