A Two Team Tournament:
The DUBBLEBUBBLE is a tournament where you play two different teams, one on Saturday, one on Sunday. To choose your teams you have 5 ‘tier points’ of which you must spend at least 4. A team costs as many points as the Tier they are in, i.e. Wood Elves cost 1, Snotlings cost 3. This means the possible combinations are Tier 1+3, Tier 2+2 or Tier 2+3. Tier 3+3 is not allowed.
You are free to choose what team you play on Saturday, you will play the other team on Sunday.
Team Building:
You have 1.150 gold to create your teams. Each Team must hire a minimum of 11 Players. Any teambudget unspent after roster creation is lost and all Teams are considered to have the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purpose of inducements and prayers to Nuffle. If you don't buy any extra fans your dedicated fans value is 0.
Tier 1
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Human, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf
Tier 2
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Elven Union, High Elf, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Slann, Tomb Kings,
Tier 3
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling, Vampire
Skillset:
You can choose to give either 6 primary or 4 primary and 1 secondary skills. Your choice may be different for each of your teams (i.e. you can have a Tier 3 team with 4+1 skills and a Tier 2 team with 6 skills).
Allowed Inducements:
0-1 Apothecary
0-2 kegs
0-3 Bribes (Goblins only)
0-1 Riotous Rookies (Snotlings only)
0-1 Halfling Master Chef (Halflings only)
Star players are NOT allowed
This is a resurrection tournament, no SPP are gained, and injuries, casualties or deaths do not carry on from one game to the next. Players added to a Team roster mid game as a result of the Masters of Undeath or Plague Ridden special rule are removed from the roster at the end of the game and do not carry on to the next game.
Both coaches are responsible to finish their game within 2.5 hours (a chess clock can help). The remaining time will be clearly displayed in the venue. When the round ends before your game is over, you and your opponent will have to agree on an outcome or the organization will do so for you.
Proxies & Unpainted teams:
Proxies are not allowed. Your miniatures should resemble what they are supposed to be. If it looks like a goblin, it should be one. Positionals should be easily recognizable. If in doubt about what you are planning to bring please contact beforehand.
When you play with a team that is not fully painted your opponent gains 3 free dedicated fans.
Dice: Please use dice that can be easily read from a distance. You must always let your opponent roll with your dice if he wishes to do so. Agree on what is a cocked dice with your opponent before the game starts. We recommend to use a dice cup/tower to avoid this problem all together.
Probability calculators:
Coaches are not allowed any apps or devices to calculate chances during their game.
Sign up by sending an email with your full name and NAF nickname to:
Depending on the amount of coaches showing up for both days we may well welcome coaches that can only come for one day. In case you can only make ito ne day let us know, we’ll discuss team choice with you in a per case situation. |
