Matches
- The tournament will be played in 4 rounds; with 1.25 hours to play each match.
- Random pairings in the first round; swiss for the following two.
- The tournament is resurrection with apothecaries working as normal.
- No Star Players or Special Play Cards.
Only casualties caused by blocking count toward the casualties stat.
Prior to each round:
1. Choose a number of players equal to the round; one of these may be a positional player.
2. Roll 2D6 for each player; on a 7 choose a Primary skill OR randomly select a Secondary skill to add to that player.
3. On any result other than 7, the player receives a randomly selected Primary skill.
4. The player retains the skill until Nuffle Dumped; a player may gain up to four skills this way.
Post match:
Nuffle Dumped:
1. Roll D6 for each player that has gained one or more skills: roll above the number of skills, the player retains their skills and may gain another in the next round if desired.
2. Roll equal to or lower, Nuffle dumps all the player’s skills and they immediately return to rookie status, and may not gain a new skill in the next round.
Regular 7s kick off table except roll of 7:
[1 & 6] A Bone for the Underdog: the team with fewer TDs, or if tied, with fewer players on pitch, gains 1 team reroll for the drive. Otherwise, Brilliant Coaching.
[3 & 4] Super 7s Bonanza: both teams gain 1 team reroll for the drive.
[2 & 5] Nuffle Jumps on the Bandwagon: the team with more TDs, or if tied, more players on pitch, gains 1 team reroll for the drive. Otherwise, Brilliant Coaching. |
