Hot on the heels of the epic world cup comes the Copenhagen Team Draft 23
The Rules are as is eurobowl Greece 2023
(currently found here: https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=16630 team creation is referenced in the bottom of this bio).
The tier list might be adjusted as it’s kind of iffy right now ( we will look at win pct. for the races to categorize the teams in tiers) but we might go with the official tiers.
The squad of 2 has two option pack points to distribute for the squad.
Besides those details we have the following exceptions and amendments as listed below, primarily 2 coaches in a squad, 3 round tournament with a funky draft of all teams before round 1 and adjustments to make these three changes work... oh and fun lots of Blood Bowl fun.

Squads
The Squad consists of 2 coaches.
They have to play different races, just like at the eurobowl.
If you don't have a partner for a squad then contact us and we will try to put you in contact with other coaches.
The Draft
There will only be one team for each race, unless the number of participants exceeds the number of races. Before round 1 all squads are randomly given a number between 1 and x( x is the number of squads in the tournament). The first squad gets to choose their team-race first and their second team-race last, nr 2 squad gets to choose second and second to last and so on.
If there are above 12 attending squads the number of teams for the draft will be increased. For each extra squad above 12 attending, 2 extra non-stunty teams will be added from the pool of teams we have miniatures for.
The organizers will try to provide a competitive roster for each race, however you will get 45 min to adjust your roster, and formulate a strategy for your squad. The eurobowl2024 rules are complicated to say at least and creating rosters for every option pack is not within scope. Therefore the time span needed to correct the rosters are increased in comparison to earlier years. We hope experienced coaches will give the less experienced a hand with roster creation.
After all rosters are locked, we will draw the first round at random and the opponents within the squads at the first round are also chosen at random. Round 2 and 3 are completed as per the normal rules of the eurobowl 2024 and everyone keeps their initial team.
Tournament rules
The tournament is 3 rounds in total.
Game time is 2 hours and 45 min, if you wish to continue into breaks you can do it, if both coaches agree. All matches must be finished 15 min before the next round, or the organizers become sad… sad organizers are predisposed to make evil rulings.
Pairing
First round is a random draw. Subsequent rounds will be swissdraw. The best placed squads will be seated on the tables with the lowest numbers. The best placed coach within each squad plays against each other.
Points are for win/draw/loss are 2/1/0. Tiebreakers are as defined in the eurobowl rules ( See below. )

what do I get for my money? there will some prices for the most prestigious achievements as well as drinks and snacks during the day
Miniatures
The format means that you can’t know for certain what team you are playing. However we would love your help to cover all the bases. Please write to Kristian Grande-Hill on facebook which race/races you plan to bring so we have a good idea what teams we need to bring.
The organizers will arrange miniatures for the races people don’t bring. Please let us know before November 10 2023.
The miniatures don’t have to be from a specific manufacturer.
The finer print
The four minute rule is not enforced, but if the game is not proceeding according to the time schedule, the organizer may require that the rest of the game be played using a timer(battle-clock). Any coach can request a timer at any time.The organizers strongly recommend introducing a timer, if the second half has not started after 1 hour and 30 min start a timer.
Should one player ignore the timer, that player will automatically concede his game, so pls dont let the sand run out.
Teams and skills
All inducements must be on the roster.
All skills must be chosen before the draw for round 1 is made.
All teams are considered equal in TV despite actual TV.
All teams listed in the rules are available.
All injuries are reset after each game. Each game will start with a fresh roster.
Dice
Dice must be easily recognized. If a Coach cannot accept your dice, you must play with standard dice (official NAF-dice).
If a Coach requests to use your dice, you must "share" dice.
Everything else
If it is not listed here, please ask.
If in doubt the Organisers have the final word.

The roster is created with all the basic rules set below for team building.

The roster is created as the Basic Pack PLUS the below benefit.
One or more Skill Points can be exchanged for gold at a ratio of 30k per 1SP that will not be used.
Optional Pack B: Skill Stacking (Cannot benefit from any other Pack)
The roster is created as the Basic Pack PLUS the below benefit.
By losing a Skill Point, you are able to stack skills to players in your roster, limiting the use according to the
tier.
1 Skill Stack for Tier 1-2, 2 Skill Stacks for Tier 3-4, 3 Skill Stacks for Tier 5-6.
2nd Primary Skill = 1 SP (Skill Stacking)
2nd Secondary Skill = 2 SP (Skill Stacking)
Optional Pack C: Star Player (Cannot benefit from any other Pack)
The roster is created as the Basic Pack PLUS the below benefit.
One (1) Star Player can be rostered for Tier 1-4 teams, up to two (2) Star Players can be rostered for Tier
5-6 teams .
Star Players in couples count as two Star Players for the roster.
For every Star Player acquired additional Skill Points cost as follows:
000-099k then 1 Skill Point
100-199k then 2 Skill Points
200-299k then 3 Skill Points

Optional Pack D: Extra Skill Point (Cannot benefit from any other Pack)
The roster is created as the Basic Pack PLUS the below benefit.
One extra Skill Point is gained, as long as the usage of the Skill Points from the coach do not exceed in
total 3 times that skill in the roster. This extra skill should not exceed in total 3 times that skill in the roster
too.
Example: A dark elf team with 4 blitzers, 2 witches and 5 LineElves can have this extra skill as long as the
Skill Points from the tier and the extra Skill Point from the blessing do not add the Block skill because there
are already more than 3 but not from the skill point usage, and can add maximum 1 more Dodge skill
because there are already 2 in the roster and by spending 1 Skill Point the total number reaches 3.

A roster cannot induce bribes as long as there is a player with the Sneaky Git skill AND/OR the Secret
Weapon skill. Goblin and Snotling teams have managed to find a "legal" way to avoid this rule, so they can
induce bribes while their roster contains players with the Secret Weapon skill BUT NOT the Sneaky Git
skill.
No roster may have the sneaky git and dirty player skill on the same player, they can be on different players. There is one exception that if a star player has both of these skills, they can still be taken.
All inducements must be announced in the “team bio” at the team’s creation and may not change between rounds. State which roster pack you are using in your team bio. |
