TOURNAMENT SCORING
- Win: +40 points
- Tie: +20 points
- Loss: +0 points
- Conceding: -10 points
+1 points per touchdown (up to a maximum of 3 per game)
+1 points per casualty (up to a maximum of 2 per game)
Note: Only casualties inflicted by successful blocks, crowd pushes, and fouls are to be counted.
In the event of a tie between any tournament points, ties will be broken in this order:
1) Opponent Score
2) Net TDs
3) Total TDs
4) Net Casualties
5) Painting
6) Random
TOURNAMENT RULES:
- BB2020 rules, DZ, supplementary rules (Spike Journals), Teams of Legend, and Historic Teams (ie. Slann) will be used.
- We will be following the guidelines for the most up-to-date ‘Rules for NAF Tournaments’ which are expected to be published January 2023: https://www.thenaf.net/tournaments/nafdocs/
-The Dogmud Rough and Ready Stadium (pg. 63) will be used for this tournament! There will be no weather table and instead you will roll a D6 on the provided table to see what event(s) will happen. If you get changing weather as a result on the kickoff table roll on the stadium table again to see what additional effect happens!
- Each team will receive a Dogmud Chef. This chef is used at the start of your game and will follow similar rules as the halfling master chef with a twist. Instead of needing a 4+ to gain a reroll you will need a 6 and you can not steal your opponents rerolls. However, this is a team reroll and you can only get 1 reroll per team per round. Whomever you nominate to roll the die would receive the additional reroll for their match for your team and if a 6 is not rolled, you will miss out on the reroll for that round. You will also be able to take the typical halfling master chef in addition to the Dogmud Chef.
- Post-match sequences will be ignored.
- Illegal procedures will not be called.
- Player injuries and casualties reset after each game (Resurrection Rules)
- 2-hour 15-minute round time-limits will be enforced. Once only 1 hour remains, players each have 30-minute timers to complete the game. After your time is up, only your blitzer / ball-carrier can be moved until the end of the game.
- Overtime will not be played.
TEAM CREATION:
Each team will consist of 3 coaches (Yes this is a team tournament). Each team can not have more than 1 tier 1 team (i.e. a team consisting of Orcs and Lizardmen is not allowed).
- The maximum available funds to build your team will be based upon the tier of the team:
Tier 1: 1,250,000 gold
Tier 2: 1,300,000 gold
Tier 3: 1,350,000 gold
- The tiers are defined as follows:
Tier 1: Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Skaven, Norse, Lizardmen, Orcs, Shambling Undead, Amazons, Dark Elves, Old World Alliance
Tier 2: Khorne, Chaos Chosen, Humans, Tomb Kings, Chaos Renegades, Slann, High Elves, Nurgle, Necromantic Horror, Elven Union, Vampires, Underworld Denziens, Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility
Tier 3: Halflings, Ogres, Goblins, Skinks, Snotlings (The Stunties)
- Your team must have a minimum of 11 players before purchasing skills and star players.
- Prices per skill upgrade (per pg. 72):
- Primary Skill: 20k
- Secondary Skill: 40k
- Skills may only be purchase as selected skills (ie. no randomly selected / cheaper skills)
- No single player may receive more than two additional skills and you may not stack a primary and secondary on any player. If you put two skills on one player they must both be primary skills.
- No players may receive stat upgrades (ie. MA, ST, etc.)
- Highlander rule for Star Players will be used, meaning if both teams field the same star player – they were both cheated, and neither gets to use them!
