Here is what you will get for coming:
- Three games of Blood Bowl.
- Two Custom D6 tournament dice.
- A delicious North Carolina style lunch.
- A chance to win some sweet prize support.
- Some cool swag yet to be announced.
Here is what we need from you:
- Three copies of your roster and a pen.
- Bring your team, tokens, etc.
- Models with added skills must be marked. somehow (colored rubber bands, skill rings etc).
- You must be a member of the NAF.
Tournament Rules
We will be using the 2023 NAF rules for tournaments, with the following additions.
-You will be given two and a half hours to finish your matches. After two and a half hours you will be given time to finish your current turn, then the match will end. If there is an issue with slow playing we will put the slow coach on a timer.
-If either coach wishes to share dice for the match then you have to share dice. Only tournament D6s should be used.
-Rosters reset after each round.
-If you are being a bad sport, you will be refunded your $25 and asked to leave.
Team Creation
You may spend 1,100,000 gold to create your team.
You may use the following inducements: Bloodweiser Kegs, Master Chef, Bribes, Apothecaries / Mortuary Asst, Riotous Rookies, Mascot, Halfling Hotpot.
You may not use: Mercenaries, Special Play Cards, Special Footballs, any named referee, any Deathzone or Spike inducements that were not named.
Star Players: Star Players may only be used by the following teams: Goblins, Halflings, Ogre, Snotling. The star players Dribl and Drul, Morg’n’Thorg, and Lord Borak are banned.
Any team can be chosen from a current Games Workshop roster, including Teams of Legend. You may also use the Slaan roster from the NAF.
Skill Packages
You may not put more than one skill per player.
You can use the same skill as many times as you like.
No skills can be given to star players.
Tier 1 Teams may be given three skills, with no more than one being a secondary. Tier 1 teams are: Amazons, Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarfs, Skaven, Underworld, Wood Elf, Human, Lizardmen, Undead, Imperial Nobility, Dark Elf, Orcs.
Tier 2 Teams may be given five skills, no more than two may be secondary skills. Tier 2 teams are: Norse, Black Orcs, Chaos Renegades, Elf Union, High Elf, Khorne, Necromantic, Slaan, Nurgle, Tomb Kings, Vampires, Old World Alliance, Chaos Chosen
Tier 3 Teams may have seven skills, with no more than four being secondary. Tier 3 Teams are: Goblins, Halflings, Ogre, Snotling.
Tournament Scoring
The tournament will use Swiss Pairing.
After each match, coaches will get +20 points for a win, +10 points for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
A coach who forfeits, concedes, rage quits or anything similar to that will lose 20 points. Please don’t come and be that guy.
