Welcome to the inaugural NAF tournament for Blood Bowl 3, starting on October 30th! We are excited to initiate a new era of NAF approved Blood Bowl 3 online tournaments, and this event will help establish guidelines for our future tournaments and extend our collaboration.
Please be mindful that this is the first time we are holding such a tournament on Blood Bowl 3, so expect a few hiccups!
Requirements to participate in the tournament:
You must be a NAF Member. If you are not yet, head to member.thenaf.net to register.
You need to join the NAF Discord server. All communication will be through the special BB3 Section on this server. Your admins are @Arioso and @olivierdulac.
You need to be available for your weekly matches.
Slots:
We have a limit of 64 player slots. If more than 64 coaches register, we will hold a lottery to randomly determine participants.
Format:
We'll use a resurrection knockout system. Only the winners advance to the subsequent round. In case of a draw, in-game overtime rules will apply, ensuring that we have a winner. Matches must be played within a week, beginning October 30th.

Join NAF Discord before October 28th, 22:00 (if you don't, your slot will be re-assigned). You have to post rosters in the special Channel if you are a participant in advance before starting the tournament
Tournament runs from October 30th to December 4th
Glittering prizes:
The finalists (top two coaches) will receive automatic access to the qualification round of the Blood Bowl 3 Season 2 Finals.
Winner: 3000 Warpstone
Runner-Up: 2000 Warpstone
Semi-Finalists: 1000 Warpstone each
Quarter-Finalists: 500 Warpstone each
Team Building Rules:
Team Value (TV): Teams are allocated a TV of 1100 for building. If you wish to use some of this for inducements, please indicate this on the form when registering your team.
Star Players: The inclusion of Star Players is prohibited.
Inducements: No Bribe may be induced if one of your players has the skill 'Sneaky Git'.
Treasury: All purchases must be made within the allocated treasury.
Skill Allocation: Once your team is built, skills can be assigned based on the following tier system.
Tiers:
Tier 1: Dark Elf, Orc, Skaven, Dwarf, Lizardmen, Underworld Denizens
Tier 2: Black Orc, Human, Chaos Chosen
Tier 3: Elven Union, Nurgle, Chaos Renegade, Imperial Nobility, Old World Alliance
Skill Assignment:
Teams are allowed a set number of skills based on their tier.
Only teams in tier 3 may assign a secondary skill.
Skill stacking and random skills are not permitted.
Number of allowed skills:
Tier 1: 5 Primary Skills
Tier 2: 6 Primary Skills
Tier 3: 5 Primary Skills + 1 Secondary Skill |
