Information
Maximus Saturday 7’s is a three round Blood Bowl Sevens tournament. This is a Swiss-Style resurrection tournament. The first game will be determined by a random matchup. The remaining games will be determined by tournament points. Seating will be limited to 20 players.

SCHEDULE

Registration: 10:00-10:30
Game 1: 10:30-12:00
Game 2: 12:00-1:30
Lunch Break: 1:30-2:15
Game 3: 2:15-3:45
Game 4: 3:45-5:15
Awards Presentation: 5:30-5:45

If coaches are not finished with their game by the one hour and fifteen minute mark, they will finish their current turn then submit their score sheets to the TO.

A NAF membership will be required but the cost will be covered by Andrew Budgell if you don’t have one.

BASIC RULES & TEAM CREATION:

All Blood Bowl 2020 teams from the Second Season Rulebook, Teams of Legend pdf, as well as Spike! Journal teams that have Blood Bowl 2020 rules may be used. This is a resurrection style tournament.The Slann NAF team will be allowed. No SPP will be earned during games and injuries will not carry over to the next game. Your team will reset to your initial roster at the start of each match. Masters of Undeath and Plague Ridden rules will be used.

You have 660,000 gp to spend on your team

You must hire a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 11 players. Only 4 non-linemen players allowed

Re-rolls cost double as per the 7’s rules in Death Zone

0-3 Assistant coaches may be purchased at 20,000 each

0-6 Cheerleaders may be purchased at 20,000 each

0-1 Apothecary at 80,000 provided it is available to your team

0-6 Dedicated fans at 20,000 each

No Star Players can be hired

No Desperate Measures

BONUSES

Teams that are fully painted (3 colour minimum): +1 Assistant Coach

All players bases are painted and/or flocked: +1 Cheerleader

INDUCEMENTS

0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs at 50,000 each

0-3 Bribes at 100,000 each (50,000 for teams with Bribery and Corruption)

0-2 Wandering Apothecares at 100,000 each available to teams can hire Apothecaries

0-1 Mortuary Assistant at 100,000 available to Sylvanian Spotlight teams

0-1 Plague Doctor at 100,000 available to teams with the Favoured of Nurgle special rule

0-1 Halfling Chef at 300,000 (100,000 for teams with Halfling Thimble Cup special rule)

SKILLS

Tier one team teams can take 3 Skills of which all must be Primary Skills
Tier two teams can take 3 Skills of which one can be a Secondary Skill
Tier three teams can take 3 Skills of which two can be Secondary Skills

No Skill can be taken more than once
Only one additional skill per player.

Tier one teams: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens and Wood Elves.

Tier two teams: Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Slann, Tomb Kings and Vampires

Tier Three: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre,Snotlings, Lizardmen teams without Saurus, Underworld Denizens without the Skaven (Rat Ogre is okay) and Black Orcs without the Black Orcs

Please have a way to indicate skills of your players that makes it easy for your opponent to identify which player has which skill. Bands will be provided if you need them.

PAIRING AND SCORING

The first round of matches will be randomised. Each following round will be determined through Swiss pairings. Points are awarded as follows:
Win - 65 points
Draw - 25 points
Loss - 0 points

Tiebreakers are as follows: Head to Head record, Total TDs, Cas Differential, TD Differential then Total Casualties.

Depending on the turn out, more prize categories may be added.

Apothecary Rules:

Patching-up Knocked-out Players -
If the player was on the pitch when they were Knocked-out they are not removed from play. Instead, they remain on the pitch and become Stunned.

If the player was Knocked-out as a result of being pushed back into the crowd or landing in the crowd, place them directly in the Reserves box rather than the Knocked-out box.

Patching-up Casualties -
An apothecary can be used when a player suffers a Badly Hurt, Seriously Hurt or Dead result on the injury table. Roll a D6:
On a roll of 4+, The player is removed from the Casualty box and placed in the Reserves box.
On a roll of 1-3 The original injury result stands.
