TEAM BUILD & SKILL SELECTION
The CCKO will be using the Amorical Cup ruleset, with the major change being this is an individuals tournament rather than a team tournament. We have cut the Amorical Ruleset down for your information below.
Step One:
Select your Race. Each race has a cost as per the table below. Also please note the associated budget of gold pieces each race receives from which the coach can build their roster. Ignore the Squad points. They are for the team aspect of the Amorical Cup.

Step Two:
Each coach may provide their players a given number of additional skills or may recruit a star player (or a mega star). The table below provides the information coaches will need for the construction of their roster in terms of additional skills and/or star players.
(Images not available here. View on www.amoricalcup.com/ruleset)
As an example of the above, A Dwarf team (Tier A) receives 4 Skill Points. Thus they may give four players one Primary Skill each and they are not/not allowed any Secondary Skills. However, should the Dwarf coach so decide, they may spend one Skill Point and stack two Primary Skills on a key player. Should they decide to do so, however, this means the total number of additional skills on their team drops from four to three, two of which are now stacked on one player. Finally, as a Tier A team, the Dwarf coach may not/not choose to recruit a star player.
The lists of Star Players and Mega Stars can be found in the Blood Bowl Matched Play Guide as well as on Page 13 of the Blood Bowl FAQ that you can find here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Ep9CKKCUD7ts8c6D.pdf.
Elven Union teams gain one additional special trait for one lineman, Poisoned Stab. This lineman can take no other skills from the package above. The Poison Stab trait works the same as the stab skill on page 86 of the rulebook with the following exception: when rolling armour the player may add +1 to the Armour roll. If the armour breaks, then that player must subtract 2 from the injury roll. This is not an optional part of the trait. Ie. The lineman stabs a Dwarf Blocker and rolls an eleven, adding one for a total of twelve. He then rolls nine on the injury and subtracts two making the result a seven and stunning the Dwarf Blocker.
Step Three
As part of their build, coaches may purchase Inducements. The cost of the inducements can be found in the Blood Bowl core rule book or the Death Zone supplement. However, please note that selecting some inducements will have a cost that must be deducted from the budget of Skill Points allocated to each team depending on their tier. Hence, an Orc team that elects to purchase a Biased Referee will see their Skill Point total fall from 4 to 3 for the purposes of adding skills to their players.
Please note that some Inducements are not/not permitted at the Amorical Cup.

Step Four
The last step is to submit your rosters. Please submit them one week prior to the tournament (January 13th). Please send your rosters to ian@ianmckinley.com Coaches who submit their roster prior to this date will gain a free assistant coach and a cheerleader for their roster.

SKILLS DRAFT
At the end of the first day of the tournament, two rounds of skills draft will be held. Starting with the team with the fewest ranking points, then going up the general ranking, each coach will be able to choose a skill from the list below and assign it to a player who does not have the Loner skill and for whom this is a primary skill. The chosen skill must be accessible to the target player (for example, a Wood Elf will not be able to obtain the Two Heads skill). Furthermore, only in the first round, a coach can forgo his second round pick and assign a skill to a player so that this skill is a secondary skill.
Once a skill is chosen, it is removed from the list and cannot be chosen by another team. The two skills drafted by the same team must be assigned to different players; on the other hand, the targeted players may have received one or more skills during the skills distribution stage (during team formation).
Please note that if the number of participating teams exceeds 30, two copies of each skill will be made available.
