Day of Tournament
Please bring sufficient copies of your roster, your painted team, pitch and templates, and NAF/GW dice. A hard time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes will be enforced each round.
Team Building Rules
Blood Bowl: Second Season ruleset is used for this tournament. You are allowed 1,250,000 to build your team. All NAF approved teams welcome. Your team must have 11 players. Star Players may be rostered, but you must have 11 rostered players before hiring a Star, they may not be your 11th Player. Highlander rule in effect, if both coaches brought the same star player, neither may field them.
You may purchase rerolls, Apothecaries, Cheerleaders, Asst. Coaches, Dedicated Fans, Bloodweiser Kegs, Igors, Bribes, and Master Chefs as normal. Apos and Igors may never be used on a Star Player.
Prayers to Nuffle and team inducements, as well as Wizards, Mercs, Special Coaches, Special Cheerleaders, Special Referees, Giants, journeymen, and Special Play cards will not be allowed. Apothecaries must be rolled as per normal rules.
Skilling up your team:
If you have taken no Star Players, you receive 250,000 with which to purchase skills. You cannot use excess funds from team creation on skills. No random skills are allowed. Primary Skills are 20k, Secondary skills are 40k. Stat upgrades may be purchased as per the following: +AV 10k, +MV or +PA 20k, +AG 40k, +ST 80k. A player taking a Secondary skill or Stat may select no other skills, and up to 4 players may have 2 skills, with 1 of the 4 having up to 3 skills.
If you took a Star Player, you receive an additional 150k to spend on skills, and only Primary skills and a +AV may be chosen. 1 player may have 2 skills, but the +AV cannot be one of them.
If you Rostered a Mega Star (Morg, Deeproot, Hakflem, Griff, Bomber Dribblesnot, Kreek “The Verminator” Rustgouger) you receive 80k to spend on skills, and only Primary skills may be chosen. 1 skill per player max.
Painting
Teams must be painted to minimum of 3 colors, with no bare plastic or metal showing. All models must be clearly identifiable.
This tournament will have a weather result rolled before each round, all games play under the same effect!
Scoring
30 pts for Win
10 pts for Draw
0 pts for Loss
+3 pts per TD
+2 pts per blocking CAS, Interception
+1 pts per KO, CAS via foul, surf, opponent’s failed dodge, explosion, stab, special weapon, or other Act of Nuffle, as well as for Defleced passes.
First Tiebreaker is TD scored
Second Tiebreaker is TD Allowed
Third is blocking CAS
Sportsmanship
We have an expectation of sportsmanship, and it will be enforced. Fouling 16 turns, Stalling, and running up the score are not poor sportsmanship. Gloating or ridiculing your opponent while doing so is. We’ve all had bad dice games, accept them with grace and dignity when hampered or helped by them.
