Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 is a 3-event series held monthly in the first quarter of 2024 throughout the greater Houston area. The series will be an escalation series where teams are built with progressively more skill points with each subsequent event. A casual, friendly event series. Everyone should help each other and assist with rules and queries despite prizes being on the line :)

Series Format
All three events will be tracked within a single tournament event with 3 phases. Event 1 and 2 will be random pairings for the 1st game of the day and then swiss pairings after that as per a regular tournament.
The third event will involve a cut to the top half and the bottom half of the field. The top cut will play a 3-round swiss-paired event to determine the Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 Champion and win THE ONE RING of the nine game series.
The Bottom half will play in the Banana Bowl which will be a 3-round swiss-paired event, the winner of which will become The Top Banana for the 9-game series.

Trickledown Award Economics in effect: only one award per player. If a player qualifies for more than one the 2nd award will be awarded to the next highest player by tiebreakers.
