Team Building

Each team receives the gold and SP based on the below tiering.

Cash given is also used to buy rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecary
and so on.

Undead, Necromantic and Nurgle teams are allowed to apply the Masters of
Undeath and Plague Ridden special rules. Players added to a team roster through a
game as a result of those special rules are removed from the roster at the end of that
game.

Teams will consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 16 players, including star players.

A roster cannot induce bribes if there is a player with the Sneaky Git skill AND/OR the Secret

Star players can only be induced after 11 regular players have already been rostered.

Star players can’t be given extra skills from the team’s skill budget.

About the Venue

Dark Fire Café Ltd is based in St Albans in an industrial area. The gaming café has kitchen facilities that serves pizzas, panni’s, cakes, coffees, soft drinks etc as well as local canned craft beer (Mad Squirrel Brewery). For more info on the food options please visit their menu here: https://www.darkfirecafe.com/menu

We kindly ask that only food and drink purchased from the café is allowed on the premises.

The table top gaming area is located upstairs, if you have any accessibility requirements please inform the TO as there are tables also downstairs that can be used.

Lunch Break

The café has limited kitchen size and therefore won’t be able to handle all food orders if made at the same time (start of lunch break). We recommend trying to order early if possible (i.e. you’ve finished your game earlier than the 2:15 allocated time). I hope you understand and not surprised if your order is potentially served during game 2.

Alternative food options include a shell service station about 10 minute walk on Valley Road and Beech Road.

There is also the King William Iv pub 10min walking distance from venue. An ideal spot to moan or celebrate your dice after the tournament.

Parking
When driving to Dark Fire Cafe, please park in the allocated visitor bays. There is also more free parking on Valley Road nearby. Please do not park in front of our neighbours buildings.
