Spring is budding and the early sown crops have just been harvested, the fields are almost ready for the next planting, but first the soil needs to be amended to receive Nuffles blessing. In order to do that the Halflings have opened up their moot to partying and bloodbowl!!! This isn't the most renowned tournament in the lands and the best teams aren't usually going to be there, stars don’t think it's worth the trip either. The fans like to see the stunties get rowdy and during this event the fans will sneak stunty teams Heady Brews.
Concept Notes
The idea behind Cabbage Cup, its list building and stars is to encourage novel ways to build teams, and hopefully those teams will have a somewhat amateur feel to them as they might not be loaded with every positional. The additional money for skills and inducements for coaches is to allow teams to make their own “star”, or represent a budding sponsorship trying to back the right team to get some publicity. Put your eggs in one basket or play elfs but it's all block linemen, stretch those muscles and bring something fun!
Roster Building
Coaches are allotted 1,050,000 Gold to draft a team, unspent gold will carry over. Teams will get additional money to spend on skills and players according to tier
Tier 1 teams receive an additional 150k

Tier 2 teams receive an additional 190k
Human, High Elf, Amazon, Necromantic Horror, Norse, Underworld Denizens, Tomb Kings, Vampire
Tier 3 teams receive an additional 210k

Building a team
The initial 1050 is used to build a roster as normal, the team must have 11 players and follows all normal rules for expedition play rosters.
The additional gold from the teams tier is used to buy anything that could normally be bought (players/rerolls (at double normal cost)/inducements/coaches/DF/cheerleaders/apo/infamous coaching staff/wizards) and upgrades may be purchased for players as well.
You may stack skills and stat increases at no additional cost

Star Players don’t want to make the trek and the wider fanfare is little for this “budding” exhibition

Porky Rootins, Gregarious Applebottom, Woodrell Harrelsun are more of a concept than a specific person, anyone with enough liquid courage could don the berserker helm or alternatively strip down and grease up in order to be drafted onto an exhibition team. If both teams have one of these same stars nothing adverse happens.

Stunty Teams will receive a free heady brew inducement
Heady Brew
At the start of the drive, after setting up but before kickoff, the coach of the team with this inducement may randomly select D3+1 players with the stunty skill on the pitch. For the remainder of the drive, those players gain Dauntless, Frenzy and Really Stupid
Special Tournament Rules -
If at any time a Coachrolls Double cabbage (youll be using cabbage cup dice which have a cabbage on the 6 side) theyll resolve the rest of activation of the active player then follow the Thrown Cabbage special rule.
Thrown Cabbage - Each Coach Rolls a d6 and adds their fan factor, the losing coach will randomly select a player, who has a cabbage thrown directly at their head. Treat as a Stab against that player with no additional modifiers - this may never cause a turnover.
