Every coach has a budget of 1,195,000-1,200,000 gold pieces, which needs to be spend entirely. Every team consists of at least regular 11 players, 0-8 Re-Rolls and 0-1 Apothecary. 0-12 Cheerleader, 0-6 Assistent Coaches and 0-6 Dedicated Fan may also be bought from this budget.

The tournament will be based on Blood Bowl Second Season 2020 and all additional Teams published in Spike! Journals (latest No. 16 - Vampires) and the current NAF rules set from the last Rules Review (Nov. 2023). In addition Chaos Darves, High Elves, Tomb Kings und Slann Teams are allowed to be played. Please note that the Designers Notes of November 2023 have to be obeyed during the tourney.

From the inducement list the following items can be bought as a permanent additon to the roster. The cost will be according to the rulebook:

0-1 Weather Mage
0-2 Bloodwiser Kegs
0-3 Bribes
0-1 Mortuary Assistant
0-1 Plague Doctor
0-1 Riotous Rookies
0-2 Wandering Apothecaries
0-1 Halfling Master-Chef
0-1 Josef Bugman or Vick Tojurub (all Teams) for 100,000gp
0-1 Standard Biased Referee
0-1 Starplayer (only for Tier 3 Teams, Starplayer-Duos are count as 1 Starplayer, but still take up two roster slots)
Wizards, Playing Cards and Mercanaries as explicitly not allowed.

Vick Tojurub is a famous Halfling Assistant Coach, who serves delicious Burger to his players during the game to strengthen their spirits. Since he can easily persuaded to enter the pitch for one half (against the advice of his medical advisor), a head coach can get more out of him durign a game. The Head coach may decide during which half he wants Vick to play. At the beginning of the half in which he does not play he prepares Burgers for his teammates and the smell of the special sauce irritates the opposing team and similar to a Master Chef the Head coach of his team may roll to steal up to 2 Re-Rolls of the oppposing team on a 5+ prior to the kick-off of the half. If Vick is on the pitch he has the following profile.

Vick Tojurub MA5 ST2 AG4+ PA2+ AV8+ Loner(5+), Block, Dauntless, Disturbing Presence, Nerves of Steel, Stand Firm

0-1 Star player (or 1 Star player pair = 2 Star players) are only allowed for Tier 3 teams and if at least 11 regular players are already on the roster. If two teams face each other who have hired the same star player, he will not play for either team, but hangs out at the bar to dicuss split personality with his alter ego (highlander rule!). Only starplayers from the GW BB2020 rules and published Starplayers up to Spike! journals 16 are allowed (Golden Era stars and NAF Legacy star players are not permitted). For each star player the opponent coach receives 2 additional cost-free re-rolls, which can't be taken away by a Master Chef, and one additional cost-free apothecary/plague doctor/mortuary assistant.

At the beginning of the tournament, each team must declare its captain from the players, which are listet with 0-12 or 0-16 in the team list (linemen). This player will receive one skill of the category "General" as well as the "Adaptive Skill". This "Adaptive Skill" can be chosen before each game from the Normal skill list for this player, after the opponent is known. Once during the tournament, this skill can be picked from the Double list. The captain does not receive any further skills.

In additon to the two skills of the captain, skills can be give to other players. There is an practise budget in form of SPP available depending on each tier. From this budget the head coach can choose from the primary and secondary categories. Stacking of skills on a player is allowed under the increasing cost restrictions stated in the rulebook. Random skills are also allowed, but these have to be rolled during local registration under supervision of the tournament organizer and a second coach. The english rulebook will be the reference for the random skill rolls. The random skill MUST be kept throughout the entire tournament. Starplayer are not allowed to gain any additional skill.

Practise-Budget:

Tier 1: 30 SPP
Tier 2: 36 SPP
Tier 3: 45 SPP

Round Events
1st round: Sea quake
If any weather roll is anything but "Nice", the weather will automatically be "Nice" (because on Father's Day there is no other weather) and a D8 dice roll has to be made for every player on the pitch. Due to a sea quake the player will be shifted by one square into this direction. If the target square is already occupied by another player nothing will happen and both player will stay where they are. If a player is moved off the pitch he will placed in the Reserve box in the dugout. The dice rolls will be alternating between both coaches, starting with the coach of the kicking team.

2nd round: Over-motivated Ogre-Fans
The ogres in the audience are somewhat frustrated with the performance of some teams and want to show the players how it’s done right. Two ogres run onto the pitch when the rolled kick-off result is either “6-Cheering Fans“ or “7-Brilliant Coaching“ (the kick-off event will be handled as usual). Each ogre will be placed in any square of the own endzone and each will be part of each team until the next kick-off. Afterwards the ogres will leave the pitch satisfied and will be celebrated by the other fans..

3rd round: Card tricks
At the beginning of the game each coach draws 2 cards from the Special Play Card set of their team (cards are provided by the TO). If there is no card deck available for the team, the cards will be drawn from the standard Special Play Cards (cards are provided by the TO). The opposing coach (B) selects one of the cards and hands it back to coach (A) to be uses during the game. The other card will be returned to the card deck. If both coaches play the same team it will be randomly determined who draws first. Before the second coach draws the cars, the card deck will be shuffled, including the returned card.

4th round: I just wanna go home
Some of the players are just worn out, frustrated or just want to get their 1st Prize Award. The last energy bits are drawn from their bodies, even though it might be a bit risky and dangerous. All players may rush an additional square, but they need a 3+ dice roll in order to suceed. If they fail this roll, the opposing coach may add +1 to the Armour roll
