Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 is a 3-event series held monthly in the first quarter of 2024 throughout the greater Houston area. The series will be an escalation series where teams are built with progressively more skill points with each subsequent event. A casual, friendly event series. Everyone should help each other and assist with rules and queries despite prizes being on the line :)

After team build you may add one primary skill to three players of your choosing. No player may have more than 1 skill.

Series Format
All three events will be tracked within a single tournament event with 3 phases. Event 1 and 2 will be random pairings for the 1st game of the day and then swiss pairings after that as per a regular tournament.
The third event will involve a cut to the top half and the bottom half of the field. The top cut will play a 3-round swiss-paired event to determine the Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 Champion and win THE ONE RING of the nine game series.
The Bottom half will play in the Banana Bowl which will be a 3-round swiss-paired event, the winner of which will become The Top Banana for the 9-game series.

Trickledown Award Economics in effect: only one award per player. If a player qualifies for more than one the 2nd award will be awarded to the next highest player by tiebreakers.

Summary:
Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 is a 9-game 3-event NAF-approved series that will culminate in a Championship and Banana Bowl cut in the 3rd event to determine our overall champion and Top Banana winners! This 3-event series replaces the league format on the perpetual trophy where winner’s names are glorified in perpetuity.
Bayou City Se7ens Spring Series ‘24 will culminate in a top-4 cut who will play for THE RING and also qualify for the Texas Super Se7ens Series Bowl to be held in August. The Hill Country Blood Bowl League will also do a 9-game series and send their top-4 cut to the Texas Super Se7ens Series Bowl.
Anyone can play in the Bowl! Those not qualified will play in the Texas Super Se7ens Series Banana Bowl.
These two Bowl’s will be held concurrently and will result in the Texas Super Se7ens Series Champion and Texas Super Se7ens Series Top Banana!
