Jim: Hey Bob, did you hear about those coaches who used to ride horses in Blood Bowl?
Bob: Horses? In Blood Bowl? Are you sure you're not confusing it with jousting or something?
Jim: No, seriously! They were all about mounted coaching strategies. But then something went wrong.
Bob: What happened?
Jim: Well, apparently, the horses couldn't handle the intensity of Blood Bowl. They kept getting confused with the ball and trampling over the players.
Bob: Haha, that's a disaster waiting to happen! So, what did the coaches do?
Jim: They decided to dedicate all their time to Blood Bowl without horses. Now they're the most foot-centric coaches in the league.
Bob: Foot-centric, you say? Like, they've got a foot fetish for touchdowns?
Jim: No, no, not like that! I mean they focus on running strategies, dodging opponents, and scoring without the aid of confused horses. It's all about hoofing it on the field!
Bob: Got it, hoofing it! Those poor horses must've been relieved. Can you imagine them trying to make sense of a game with a ball and a bunch of players knocking each other around?
Jim: Yeah, it was like watching a chaotic stampede instead of a strategic game. Now the coaches are all about precision and finesse. No horsing around in Blood Bowl!
Bob: Well, at least they've found their true calling. Let's hope they stick to coaching and leave the equestrian sports to, you know, actual horses.
Jim: Agreed, Bob. Blood Bowl is challenging enough without adding confused four-legged referees into the mix!

Awards for Top 3 places in the tournament will be given if we have 16+ coaches in the tournament.
We will be using the Greek Ruleset from the upcoming EuroBowl tournament in Greece.

The coach may spend 1 Skill Point more than their Gifts of Apollo total, as long as the usage of the Skill Points from the coach does not exceed in total 3 times that skill in the roster (including built-in skills).
Example: A dark elf team with 4 blitzers, 2 witches and 5 LineElves can have this extra skill as long as the Skill Points from the tier and the extra Skill Point from the blessing do not add the Block skill because there are already more than 3 but not from the skill point usage, and can add maximum 1 more Dodge skill because there are already 2 in the roster and by spending 1 Skill Point the total number reaches 3.
The tournament will be run via Tourplay. All coaches are required to have a mobile phone/tablet.

Clocks and slow games:
If both players agree, they can play with a chess clock (can be
an app). If there is a risk that the game will not finish on time, the
referee may order the game to be played with a clock, dividing the
remaining time in the round equally between both players. In the
event that the game extends beyond the time frame of the round,
the referee have the right to determine until which turn players
continue or to end the game immediately. The referee's decisions are
final and indisputable.
The organisers have rights to change a schedule and the details of the tournament in the following months up to mid April. |
