Brewhouse Bowl 8!
The Brewhaus Bowl is a Blood Bowl tournament, in its 8th year, that mixes games of traditional Blood Bowl mayhem with rounds of Brewhouse Bash, a unique one-off GW game printed in WD magazine in the 90s.
Rules for the Bash game will be shared & first time BHB coaches will be given custom special play cards to help with rules. As the game was originally created by gw staffers as a fun goof around game there are several loopholes and unanswered rules questions. We have play tested the game over the past years and will provide copies to coaches on the weekend. Please still do familiarize yourself with the basics so we can launch into the first round without too much confusion.

The 2024 Brewhouse Bowl will be held on May 4 & 5th, 2024, and will be 5 games over the course of 2 epic Blood Bowl days. 3 games Saturday & 2 games Sunday. Round schedule below.

TOURNAMENT:
- Swiss-style match-ups after game 1.
- Bash rounds after game 1, 2, 3, & 4
- The 4 minute turn limit will not be specifically enforced throughout the tournament. There is however a strict time limit for each game. At the mark dice must stop rolling, regardless of even turns. Playing into lunch hour will not be permitted as coaches need to take part in bash rounds.
-Dice cups, trays and towers are not only permitted but encouraged.
-At the start of game Coaches facing off are encouraged to define for their game how to handle cocked dice and dice which escape from dice cups.
-We will be using the Amorical Cup tournament app and will be 90% paperless so please bring a device and charging cords if necessary.
TEAM BUILD:
-Amorical Cup roster building rules apply. All Coaches are required

-The only alteration from the Amorical Ruleset is that we will welcome the newest GW team if rules are released by April 26th. Gnomes will be tiered based on the GW spike recommendation & new stars will be assessed after official release.

BASH Rounds:
- Coaches will select a different player from their team roster for each Bash round
- The same player cannot brawl more than once as local authorities have been made aware of rowdy players smashing up pubs in the area
- Stars cannot be given skills even if they win a bash round (so don’t bother selecting them)
- Each pub will aim to have 5 players in it if possible
-Each pub will produce a single winner that will be able to select from the rewards on a first come, first served order to encourage fast play and quick thinking.
- If player won previous BB game -1 to health total, as they have been drinking their faces off in celebration.
-Once a player is KO’d they will not have the chance to recover and return to the drawl but their body can still be thrown by brawlers in the pub
- The winning brawler(s) will receive permanent skill additions for the remainder of the tournament:
- The winners of round 1 will be able to gain one skill from the agility skills.
-The winners of round 2 will be able to gain one skill from the strength skills.
-The winners of round 3 will be able to gain one skill from the passing skills.
-The winners of round 4 will be able to gain one skill from the general skills.
