Painting - Dungeonbowl Pitch

Torpor - Mar 08, 2005 - 03:25 PM
Post subject: Dungeonbowl Pitch
I have completed my Winter project which was to build a 2nd Edition Dungeonbowl pitch using Hirst moulds. The link to it is http://www.geocities.com/faintlym/DungeonFinal.html

To celebrate it being finished, I am having a contest similar to Traveller's one when he finished his Streetbowl pitch - Guess closest to the weight of the project without going over (in kilos please) and you will win a painted Treasure Chest like you see in the pictures. The closest result posted by noon on the 15th March, 2005 will be the winner.

Enjoy

Hmmm, low Kg guesses coming in, atm I will stick with 38Kg, considering 8 boards + walls + crypt + other additional aspects. May reduce this in next day or 2 lol. Laughing

What in the world is a stone?!?!?!?!!
Torpor - Mar 11, 2005 - 01:23 AM
Post subject:
1 stone = 14lbs = 6.35kg = easy way for UK women to feel better about their weight as in "I only weight 9 stone 2 pounds". It doesn't sound as big a number.
mikafreak - Mar 11, 2005 - 09:44 AM
Post subject:
Personally I thought it was more along the lines of metric and imperial weights as opposed to UK women feeling better about their weight!
Maybe I am biased on this subject though, being both English and female.

ok, last guess from me is 19.8Kg.

OK, a small avantage on my side ... but it was realy a guess and no checking and using stones to rebuild the dungeon to get the right weight Wink

Thanks a lot for the nice chest... it will be another rare item in my collection and will get a honorful place at my website later with a link to "TorporĀ“s Making of the Dungeon" site. Wink
