Ok...here it goes:

I picked the top 3 races from the last poll and added the mixed-Elf team since I think that's a nice idea.

After you have voted please state if you want to participatein this years team and what color combination you would like to see. If you áre really into the whole thing it would be great if you can give your color choice for each of the 4 races.

Even though it's not possible to control that really, but please only vote if you want to paint for this years team.

Also, despite the fact that I wanted to have this poll run for the entire month, I think it's a little too long, so this poll will be closed after 15 days. Gives us more time to paint Smile

For the Lizzies: skin: brownish with a hint of purple
For the Flings: Light green...like Leprechauns
For the Zons: blue and gold
For the Mixed Elves: Red and white

Painting!!! *cough* I would like to paint for this years team.

Ideas for colurs are -

Lizardmen - Purple skin, cream/bone scales, underbelly (+ crests for skinks) with dark brown designs on the skull helmets and Black and gold armour.
Halflings - White armour with emerald green design on it (rich leprechans Mr. Green

), very dark green clothing
Amazons - Black, red and light gold, don't mind what goes where... but I just love the idea of black feathers!!!
Mixed Elf - Red, bone/cream with very dark brown leather.

I voted Lizards, I'd go for a mix of interesting natural reptile colours for the skins and blue armour

I voted Mixed Elf and would not participate in painting any other team.

Colour scheme: something incorporating "typical" colours of the three Elf races (black or purple for DE, white or gold for HE, green or brown for WE), eg brown trunks with purple/golden shirt.

I voted Amazons, this is the only race were I would participate. Concerning colour I would suggest green, red and blue.

I only specified lizards colour, but I'd probably do any team.

really I don't know why someone would only do 1 race and not another.

NAF colors on flings would be fun as all the flings I see seem to be green or blue.

Elves...well I have failed several times at this for my WE team (Autumn's Fury), but I love the idea of fall foliage colors all mixed together. Some day I'll get it right though!

Zons...anything with some bronze worked in is ok by me.

Regardless of what's decided...I'm in.

I'm a definite regardless of race. I'll not descriminate against teams I don't like playing or painting, THAT'S THE CHALLENGE PART OF THE TEST KIDS ! ! ! Smile

Liz: Skin- Whatever you want, just as long as the armor/uniform matches. Why does the team have to be all from one spawning? And for the Uni maybe a mix of Bone & Bronze?..

Zons: Princess Leia's bikin armor. Smile

Flings: PLAID ! ! ! MUHAHAHAHAHA

Elf: Why not NAF colors?

Hell why not NAF colors for uniform regardless of team.

Just to get things straight.....I don't want to force anybody to paint a team they don't want ot paint, for whatever reason (e.g. no figs available, dislike the race, etc).

It just started to look like that people only wanted to paint the race they have voted for and if that is the case at the end we might end up with a team, which is not complete....which would be sad

I know that we had 14 definates and 11 maybes. I was looking at these numbers like (14 + 50% x 11) x 80% =~16

Voted Lizzies, but count me in whatever the race is.

Colour schemes:

Lizzies: Orange, yellow and black, like those venomous African frogs;
Flings: Burgundy and gold/yellow. Part buffoons, part rich-looking clothes!
Amazons: Dark green and feathers imitating different bird species.
Elves: I like the Red and White suggestion.

The reason why I wrote that I will only paint amazons is that I do not have any figs from the other teams.
However should I get hold of a fig from the winner team, then I would like to participate.

would love paint something (anything) so do put me on if there's space. Not fussed but dont why the legacy teams arent all just basic teams -ie undead, men, orc. Will suggest colour schemes when a race is picked, but red and white NAf style is a great idea - irrespective of race

I know Lizzies are way ahead, but maybe this might change people's minds about doing 'zons. Look at the new stuff coming out from Hasslefree (ignore the SF guys with guns, yeah like I needed to tell you to look at the naked women Wink

), there is a fantasy football mini coming out that will make a great 'zon and the other female minis could make good 'zon conversions as well.

Just so that people are aware....there is NUDITY so if that offends you then don't look (yeah right Wink

I voted for elves since I have plenty (dibs on a elf thrower if they win-I have a GOOD conversion all ready to go). Lizzies would be OK although I will not be using GW Amazons if that is chosen. I believe I have an extra Phil Valk Catcher (dibs on a catcher?)if thats acceptable or possibly do a sidline mini from Reaper? We may end up with a VERY weird team if 'Zons are chosen with the lack of GW 'Zons and the diversity of "female" figs from other companies, but I don't really mind.
Color suggestions...
Good idea of NAF colors red, white and black (should have done that for ALL the NAF teams!! Would certainly save time with the constant Polling every year!)
but other suggestions...
1. Lizzies=Orange with Blue secondary color/fins/scales
2. Elves=White with purple secondary
3. 'Zons??? How about Red and white??
4. Halflings=Blue and Yellow
