I look for some news from the Naf World Cup.
Some results for the fans in the most popular site like FBB or Flumbbl

I think giving some little news from this Big event should be easy for you.

Thanks

Sorry everyone - there was so much to do to close the tournament and things to clean up and sort out....
we really have been remiss at getting the word out. So....

Team Les Azes of France are the first-ever NAF World Cup champions.
Team Aros Super Stars of Denmark were runnersup.

The third place team is Team FBB of France. There was some confusion because this team was not present at the ceremony and so Team FUMBBL of Spain and I thought it was them. However, everything was quickly sorted and the longtime French RTC Yohann Miniere was able to gather the medals for the Team FBB.

We will post the individual champions, painting winners and all the statistics on the website as quickly as possible.... it is now 7:00am here in Nottingham and I got out of bed just to post the basics and to once again say to everyone - thank you! I thought the spirit and atmospheterrre was fantastic, and everyone there were true sportsman. In the end, it truly was an effort for coaches by coaches, so everyone pitched in and helped when needed.... Just to see nearly 300 Blood Bowl coaches gathered at the end was remarkable!

More later on - now back to sleep!

FBB is 3rd in this World Cup I
FBB means France Blood Bowl and is the nickname of http://www.francebloodbowl.com
We were sorry not to be able to stay for the result ceremony. But the shuttle was living at 22h and we were very short on time.
We took our shuttle just 5 minutes before it left.

Next time we will try to take more time to enjoy the result and the podium with all the others! Smile

Azes and Aros Superstars are great bloodbowl coaches and they deserve to be at 1st and 2nd place.
I hope that next time we fight against Aros we will have a bit more luck ! We will crush you next time friends !

We made it just 2 minutes before departure, actually... To say how close we were not to get the shuttle...

Next time we'll stay, for sure ! Smile

That was a great event, thanks to all participants ! Smile

Ho, and sorry to my danish opponent who was the only one to lose against FBB, due to the poor armor his orcs were wearing... Wink I paid it then, making only 4 casualties for the 4 games remaining, including undeads, wood elves, dark elves and dwarves (ok, I didn't expect to make that much on dwarves... Wink

Congratulations to the Azes and to ourselves... Wink

Yeh thx for a really great tournament with a hell of a lot of close games Smile
What a close end to a tournament with 12 pts seperating us and number one - that is less than a draw.....
But we will take heart from the fact that we did beat you in our personal game Smile
Congratulations Azes and FBB for ending on the podium too, but also congratz to the other danish teams who ended 5´th, 12´th and as nr 23 even though the last team were down to five man and thus got a 0 pts game each round.
Well done mates.
Also I´d like to thank all my personal opponents and DarkSteve get back on the horse you are still one of the greatest players of this game - even though you failed your bonehead roll Wink

Cya all next time - and some of you at the Eurobowl next year.

Thanks for Les Azes club and FranceBloodbowl website to have participate in the training and creation of the Les Azes team, a team of local friends that share commun vision of Bloodbowl life.

How "god" ? You mean how "good" I think. Rolling Eyes

Mistery is a good coach but Nuffle (Enefel in french) is the only BloodBowl god ! Very Happy

Well, Raised Mistery use to be the MVP of the first Eurobowl, and Eurobowl champion by team (same year) !

Then he made a break... almost 2 years without playing at all.

The first two matchs he did before the Rugbowl were rather... disapointing for him !

Two loss :
2-0 against Nicodaz
4-1 against me
Laughing

Then we won the Rugbowl (tournament by team of 6 players - 10 teams) and he finished individual Runner up !

Somehow, there's the training and there's the competition. Mistery is an amazing competitor with an amazing lezard blood !! To me he's one of the most impressive player I've ever seen... Clap Clap "Mister E"

I feel sorry for the Halfing, the only Race not at the World Cup!
(I guess that was due to not having Star Players)

I would be more sorry for anyone having to play them Smile

No chef either. Also the team element means that individuals who might want to play a stunty team would be asked to help the team and play a tier 1 team instead.

It certainly shows who are considered the better races. The Top Six Races were two thirds (64.47%) of the Teams.

Orc 37/273 ~ 13.55%
Wood Elves 35 ~ 12.82%
Undead 32 ~ 11.72%
Norse 27 ~ 9.89%
Dwarves 23 ~ 8.42%
Skaven 22 ~ 8.06%

Now I realise that being popular does not necessary make them the best, however these are all teams that come well skilled out of the box.

As for Halflings, I think it shows they need Deeproot (or similar) on the roster and probably Loner taking off all their Treemen! Very Happy
