I am pleased to announce that the remaining World Cup figures are for sale.
The NAF is not set up to take figure sales and have a purchasing and stock management system or despatch and packaging programme required for this task. Therefore Impact! will be handling the sales for us.
The process will have a two week window where those at the World Cup have the opportunity to make thier 16 man teams and then the remaining NAF members will be able to purchase. We will be tracking purchases by NAF names and numbers so please have this ready when placing orders on Impact! Non NAF members will be moved to the back of the queue until the window closes.
If stock is still left at this stage then Impact! will continue to sell them on our behalf and we have agreed that some of these sales will be by ebay if stock remains.
So, please allow Impact! to update thier site and make the appropriate announcements and happy buying!

Okay not to let any moss grow under this ... here is the link to the site for the pre-order.
As Dave said ... you can pre-order the item. On February 1st, I will remove the miniatures temporarily from the site if any of them have sold out. We will share the list with the NAF and may be sending out emails to folks to confirm NAF numbers (so make sure the email you use to preorder on the Impact! site is one that you normally read).
Attendees of the World Cup will get first dibs
Then NAF members.
If after those folks are taken care of an item has not sold out then anyone pre-ordering that miniature will be contacted and stock will reserved back to cover all pre-orders made with the remainder being placed on general sale February 1st.
The counter on each figure that says "more needed to cast" that's actually a countdown of how many are left in stock. If this counter says zero, you can still put in a pre-order ... if we have non NAF members or World Cup attendees in the population you'll go above them in the priority of who gets the item (so don't let zeros scare you off from putting in the pre-order).
You must be registered and logged in to the Impact! site in order to place a pre-order to reserve your figures.

In addition, Jabo (who sketched out the World Cup figures) and Alex Garrett who sculpted them have both worked with Impact! over the last few months to create an Ogre in the same style as this team. This figure will be the giveaway figure for the 2008 Zlurpee Bowl ( http://www.zlurpeebowl.com/ ). Xtreme has graciously agreed to allow Impact! to release a few of these figures early. The plan is to have a few (or maybe just one) Ebay auction for a 16 man team of World Cup figures (3 of each lineman, 2 Throwers, 4 Blitzers, 4 Catchers) along with one of the limited edition Zlurpee Bowl Ogres done in the World Cup style. This auction(s) will be held most likely in mid March or so (and will be posted here when it starts).
