The Challenge of Q'ermitt VII
April 21-22nd, 2012

I am going to be posting a link with full rules later, but here is a quick recap of the rules for the tournament:

*All teams will be created to a maximum value of 1,250,000.

*Teams must be created using the rules of the most current LRB (I.e. the C.R.A.P. rulebook)
*Players may not spend more than 150,000 on skills (see detailed rules under team creation)
*Goblin teams (not Underworld) may take bribes at a cost of 50K
*Halfling teams may take the Master Chef at a cost of 100K
*Star players may be purchased during the team creation phase at the listed cost

It will be a League Style tournament
As a league style tournament all aspects of league play will be implemented, SPPs, cash, etc.

Team creation
Please see the full rules for team creation in the "Comprehensive Rules" section in the tournament rulebook. Follow the link, starting with my signature at the bottom.

Remember also, that Star Players may be purchased at the time of team creation at their listed cost. They can be improved through accumulation of SPPs through tournament play but will have a pre-set number of SPPs that they begin with, depending on how many skills they would have already gained.

Any Star Players that begin with a team DO NOT have the Loner skill, as they have been playing with the team since their rookie days.

There can only be one of any given Star Player, so the first coach to tell me (through PM) that they are wanting to buy a particular Star Player will be the only one who can purchase that Star. I will be updating this first post as time goes on to indicate whichStars are no longer available.

I'll try to make it to defend my double title and honor Q'ermitt !

Mr Sakado !

Any idea where is the tournament going to be ?

And for the star loosing Loner, it's only for players that dont normally have loner, right ? (i.e. big guys are keeping it ?)

How does purchasing skills work? Its a bit confusing from your post. Can you only purchase skills for 0-16 positions?
Spazzfist - Feb 13, 2012 - 06:22 AM
Post subject:
Glamdryn, sorry for the confusion - that is not even really accurate, as I have modified it in the comprensive rules in my link (click on my sig at the bottom)

From the comprehensive rules, this is what it says about buying skills:

Teams may be made up to the full value of 1,250,000 with staff and players if the coach wishes. No more
than 150,000 in skills may be purchased but the team during team creation. The base team includes any players (including pre-purchased star players), coaching staff, Fan Factor and re-rolls. Inducements may not be bought as part of the starting team. The exceptions are: goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase the Master Chef. Both teams may purchase these inducements as permanent
parts of their team at the full listed costs.

Skills and Attribute Increases
Up to 150,000 GC in skills and attribute increases may be purchased for the players during team creation. he cost for upgrading any one player will be as follows:
ï‚Ÿ 1st skill or increase: regular cost
ï‚Ÿ 2nd skill or increase: regular cost +10,000 g.p.
ï‚Ÿ 3rd skill or increase: regular cost +20,000 g.p.
This applies to any individual player. So, for example, several members of the team could get one skill each and therefore only the basic costs of the skills would be charged. It is only when one player receives more than one skill that the extra charges are applied. Should a coach want to buy more than three skills for any one player, then any further increases cost an extra 20,000 g.p. per skill

How many star players can you have on your starting roster? Does this number affect induced star player count?

Where is the chart that shows what position the star player eliminates?

Those boards aren't that good. They also have a bunch of goofy rules that only Canadians can understand. One of the boards was made by a guy that has literally sniffed too much of the warp. It has a bunch of pvc piping on it and way too much crazy crap going on.

Translation: Yeah, they look really cool. Don't take any team that you care about your NAF ranking. It could go to crap in a hurry. I was going to make it this one last year. I made some special arrangements regarding the scheduling of my tourney only to have someone end up cancelling this one. I get the distinct impression that Spazz doesn't really like me and privately called everyone else up to let me know it was still on.

Just went through the rules and was bewildered by this paragraph:
"The number of players (including star players) on the team roster may not exceed the total number of miniatures that can be safely stored in any given body orifice.".

Could you clarify on that??? That's very confusing. Also, I think it is pretty much disadvantaging teams like Ogres or Chaos Pact.

As the star players are replacing positionals, you can have as many on your team as you can afford, provided that they are not exceeding the number normally alloted (e.g. a human team could not hire two ogres)

      Glamdryn wrote:

Sorry, but I though that that was in the rules, I will forward that to Eric.R. who is the keeper of the site, and ask him to update that for me. If you are not sure, then just ask me, but pretty much it comes down to common sense.

Please note - LOCATION CHANGE

The location is going to be at the following address:

84 Dunlop Court
Brampton, ON
L6X-5A6

This is my girlfriend's house which she has offered for me to use for the weekend, including putting a few of you up to save on accommodation costs. It also prevents me having the same problem I had last year with the space being taken away from me at the last minute.

We are locked in an ready to go!

As for rules updates, what are you looking for to be updated, Laurent?

Tournament Swag!!

Here are some photos of the special custom made weather tokens that I have had made for everyone who attends.

The tokens will stand about five inches tall and each weather token is removable from the stand in which it sits which means that they will be easily transportable.

Please note that these are pics of the test runs, and the final product will be more polished (with name of the tourney on the base, and no line on the left side of the Blizzard result).

Just making sure no changes ahead (so I can start advertising it here and there).

Looks like everything is solid (date, rules, etc...), so, lets rock and roll baby Cool

PS: I really enjoyed using "Score" as software for the tournament, as it generated the result list automatically, and has an "import" function that allowed me to change the list at the last second to adapt it to the people coming. Let me know if you need computer support.

Everything is set in stone at this point. there is too much benefit to have the tourney here, so I cannot pass up the opportunity. I will just have to factor an extra cost for all the extra Febreeze that I'll need to buy!

As for the software, I have a program that was made specially for the Q'ermitt tournament (designed by Marc-Andre) and will be using that one. But thanks for the offer!

Reminders!

Star Player Draft

Please remember that Star Players are drafted on a first-come-first serve basis. Start Players that are drafted pre-tourney do not have the Loner negatrait and are able to advance and gain further skills (provided they gain enough SPPs during the tourney).

Star Players that are drafted are not available to any other player, including as an inducement.

To date there are only two star players that have been drafted:

Roxanna Darknail
Count Luthor

If you want to purchase a Star Player for your team, then PM me with the request ASAP.

Stunty Cup
The Stunty Cup is a mini tournament that is run on the Saturday evening of the tourney after the main event has finished. Full rules are available by following the link in my signature.

There needs to be a minimum of four players to run the Stunty Cup, and there is a maximum of eight. There is no additional cost for this, and is strictly done on a first come-first serve basis. There will be a trophy for the winner, as well as the coveted Stunty DVD!! Very Happy (PM for more details on that!)

The idea is to make the players as though they were raised from rookie status on the team. The point of all star players having Loner is justified by the fact that they are not used to playing with the team on a regular basis. As this is not the case with the drafted Star Players for the Q'ermitt, normal Star Players do not have Loner.

However, on a regular team Big Guys have Loner, even as rookies. this is because they are so stupid, that they are difficult to train.

Even if a Big Guy Star Player does not have a stupidity Negatrait (i.e. Bonehead, Wild Animal or Really Stupid) he WILL STILL HAVE LONER

      Spazzfist wrote:
Any Big Guy you have on a team is going to have Loner, so why should the Star Player be any different?

Correct me if I am wrong, but Bertha Bigfist and Brick F'Arth are the only two Big Guys who have their original negatrait. Grashnak, Morg, Ripper, Headsplitter, they have all lost theirs. Don't like it? Don't buy them! I don't understand your poitn about Zug and Hthark as their type never had any negatrait to begin with.

All Big Guys have loner. Period. Whether a rookie or a Star. If the Star happens to have another negatrait, so be it

      Spazzfist wrote:
The one exception to this rule would be Deeproot Strongbranch, and this is only if he is playing with halflings. Halfling treemen are the only rookie Big Guys in the game who do not start with Loner, so I am not going to impose it in this case. However, if Deeproot was hired for a wood elf team, then he will have Loner (because rookie treemen on wood elf teams start with Loner).

Best Smack Talk Award

One of the prizes given at the Challenge of Q'ermitt is for the best smack talk that happens before an during the tournament.

The award is given to the person who delivers regular and funny smack talk that is creative in it's delivery. Here are a couple of great examples from previous winners:

      Lizardcore wrote:

(Oh, and by the way Adam, all your whining about Laurent's victories over you do not count as smack talk!)

It's funny you're taking about that, 'cause look what I found in my morning beer:

and one of my all-time favourites:

A is for the Americans that plan on attending the CoQ, it's suitable that A is 1st as the Americans usually feel they are 1st in everything, what place did they come in the Bloodbowl World Cup again?

B is for the Boards that are at the CoQ, while you all worry about understanding the rules, I'll just get the easy win. the rules are not that hard just ask Talons.

C is for Cool, cause just like Peter says we are cool we drink beer we don't dress up.

D is for Dan's mom, what's getting older this never ending joke or the puss filled pimple infested wart covered vaginal walls of her sagging dripping...... oh no words can really describe it, just ask Spazz

E is for Eric, he tries & tries & his results in Bloodbowl end up like an E on a report card, so the letter E works, look on the bright side Eric its not an F.

F is for Farts, yes I do fart at the tournies & I do fart a lot, but my farts do not stink as bad as all of you do at Bloodbowl that will be attending the CoQ.

G is for Greatness, you don't understand greatness you say? Well if you were the 2006 SPIKE Champion you would, G also stands for Guinness as that beer is the Greatest beer, worthy only to those like the 2006 SPIKE Champion.

H is for Hickling or Human, hey how did Hickling's Human's do at the Bloodbowl World Cup?

I is for Incentive, Ben spoke of it Adam tries to get it, Tristan has no idea what it is, and whoever wins the CoQ will come close in a minor way to understand what Incentive it takes to be the 2006 SPIKE Champion!

J is for Joint, if you think you will out best me at the CoQ, you clearly are high!

K is for Kick an under used skill in Bloodbowl, hey Talons you chose that skill for Death Bowl one year how did it work out?

L is for Losers or Look , well if your reading this & your not the 2006 SPIKE Champion , "Look" in a mirror & see a "Loser"

M is for Mullet , and nobody makes a Mullet along with Ball Socks look better while losing at Bloodbowl more than Peter!

N is for Niagara, yes there will be a few new NAF members from Niagara but I have seen them play, if they want to "rise" in the standings, those from Niagara will need a Viagrara for a Bloodbowl "rise" in win %!

O is for the Ottawa crowd or maybe Outward bound, or Over there, basically Ottawa guys/gals do try & attend a tourney Out there , Outward bound basically anywhere out of Ottawa.

P is for Penicillin that I will be giving any of my opponents if they have ever been with Dan's mom (can never be too careful)

Q is for Questioning, you will question yourself as a Bloodbowl player after losing to me the same way you question your sexuality after getting shot down by Dan's mom.

R is for Repeat & why yes I will in fact repeat, I am ........ wait for it...............................................................the 2006 SPIKE Champion!

S S is for Star Players, yes at the CoQ you can have a Star Player, but unless the Star Player was the 2006 SPIKE Champion, whats really the point?

T is for Talons who will cry about if he only rolled a 6 he would for once be a Champion, or for Talons who will cry about the rules of a CoQ board being misread by a french person.

U is for Ugly & what could be uglier than Mandy (Spazz's dog), even a night with Dan's mom with the cast from the Stunty Cup winning porn midgets is more inviting than one look at that dog's face or is that it's ass? Who can really tell the difference?

V is for Victory & V.D. because if you are victorious in getting in bed with Dan's mom, well you may need to go to a clinic.

W is for winning or whining , and when I win I am sure I'll here you whine.

X is for X-Rated video for winning the Stunty Cup, what was it called ? ___________________ (please feel free to fill in the blank.)

Y is for You, you are just you, I mean that's good if all you ever expect to do is be with Dan's mom, or collect Spoons with Eric, Chops & Garth.

Z is for Zed not Zee, but Zed is the end and when you come 77th out of 80 at the Bloodbowl World Cup that may as well be the end!

I have wrote a song to this, sing along with the new words

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-i7TNaIAGew

Scare a little High Elf
Save no life for thee
Victims up ahead
Running for the Trees
Rat fur all Mangy
Warpstone in the air
And the Hell Pit that lays deeper
These Screams in the lair

These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every turn of the game I take another life
These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every game that ends a brand new race to slay

Is it the Rat Ogre
Could it be Wild or Fail
I want with shouts a Blitz
With Prehensile Tail
Loner in his actions
Reroll in my grip
And shouts that have no form
Are falling from my lips

These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every turn of the game I take another life
These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every game that ends a brand new race to slay

There's Warpstone out there I can't resist
I need to hide away from the pain
There's Warpstone out there I can't resist

The sweetest screams in silence
that I ever heard
Funny how their blood
In screams always drench the earth
One last Elf, one of Princes
Panic like a kiss
But the Prince hides his face
From Screams in the Mist

These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every turn of the game I take another life
These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every game that ends a brand new race to slay

These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every turn of the game I take another life
These Screams go on when I roll my dice
Every game that ends a brand new race to slay

Here are the rules for a new pitch that I will be adding this year.

The board is currently under construction, but I will post pics when it is done (hopefully by the end of the weekend).

Here are the rules for the new pitch that I will be adding this year:

Flander's Field
Background - Deep in the valleys of Marienburg there is a remote community of Cowberg. Travellers who make their way through this town are always struck by the kindness and clean-living of the inhabitants of this sleepy little city, and by the fact that all the locals, mean and women seem to have an intense desire for racing carts and mullets..

But even though small in size, they have managed to procure the funds to build their own Blood Bowl pitch. Named after their long-serving mayor and founder Petronious Flanders, Flanders Field is trying to re-shape the way that Blod Bowl is played into a fair and more "gentlemanly" sport.

Overall Rules -

"We Love You Both!"
1) There will be no FAME roll made at this pitch.

"You're All Winners Here!"
2) Both coaches are treated as winners at the end for FF and Winnings roll (roll 3 dice for FF increase, and can reroll their winnings if they choose)

"Let Me Help You Back Up!"
3) Any players pushed into the crowd are treated as stunned

Weather Table
stays the same

Kick Off Table
2- Take a breather Pal! - each coach moves their turn marker forward one turn, both coaches may take another roll to revive any KO'd players (if they have any).
3- Lenient Ref - any time that a player is spotted fouling, place them tin the KO bin, as oppose to removing them from the game. Roll for them to come back into the game at the start of the next drive(s) as normal. If a 4+ is rolled, they have convinced the ref that they "are really sorry", and may play again.
4- Perfect Defense - as per normal rules
5 - High Kick- as per normal rules
6 - Master Chef Tammy's cooking - both coaches are so inspired by the wonderful smells that they each gain +1 RR
7 - Weather- as per normal rules
8 - Master Chef Tammy's cooking - both coaches are so distracted by the wonderful smells that they each lose 1 RR
9 - Quick Snap- as per normal rules
10 - Awkward Introduction - any players starting the drive in an opposing player's tackle zone are unable to make any actions for each of their respective first turn of this drive. ("Hi, my name is Petronius, and you are...")
11 - Long-Winded Story - Petronius Flanders catches one of your players in a story seemingly without end. Each coach rolls a d6 and the lower scoring coach randomly determines a player to be the audience of said story. In the case of ties, each coach randomly determines one player. Roll on the injury table, ignoring stun results and treating casualties as Badly Hurt only.
12 - Non-Alcoholic Bugman's - it does not take much to rile up the like of Flander's Fans! Treat all crowd pushes as normal for the rest of the half.
Talons - Apr 07, 2012 - 07:34 PM

Here's the Half time show at Flander's Field , staring Petronius Flanders as one of his many on screen characters!

Another song, a love story between a Krox & Zara!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Y2Ta0qCG8No

I remember when Block was strong
Me & Zara had so much fun
Breaking hands & crushing skulls
Was an old bold Kroxy & had a team of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was doing the thing called the Kroxodile Block
While the other skinks were dodging around the clock
We were hopping & bopping to the Kroxodile Block

Well Kroxodile Blocking is something shocking
When your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time & I guess I never will
Oh Lawdy Mama those jungle nights
When Zara wore those feathers so tight
& the Kroxodile Blocking was out of sight

La laaaaa, la la la laaaaa, la la la........

But the turns went by & me Krox Bone Head
Zara went & left me for a gal instead
Long nights of drinking by the Q'ermitt Temple
Dreaming of my Zara & old Block Dreams
But they'll never kill the thrills we've got
Burning up to the Kroxodile Block
Learning Fast as the games went past
We really thought the Kroxodile Block would last

Well Kroxodile Blocking is something shocking
When your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time & I guess I never will
Oh Lawdy Mama those jungle nights
When Zara wore those feathers so tight
& the Kroxodile Blocking was out of sight

La laaaaa, la la la laaaaa, la la la........

_PUBLIC WARNING REGARDING DAN'S MOM_

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpEwKz6YCEs

I never meant to be in bed with You
One thing I said I would never do
A look from you & I was at your place
And that would wipe the smile right from my face

I do remember when you used to glance
And incidence arose from circumstance
One thing led to another, i was new
And I would scream the closer I got to you

It was the heat of the moment
Telling me what Your heart meant
The heat of the moment burns in your thighs

And now I find myself in sex with you
The burning red spots burn on me, from you
You don't concern yourself with safer Sex
You caught me & spread your V.D. Hex

Cause it's the heat of the moment
Heat of the moment, the heat of the moment
Burning in Your thighs

And when my looks are gone & Dumped from You
How many meds I take because of You
To all of You that be with Dan's Mom
Please wear a condom & remember well

It was the heat of the moment
Telling me what Your heart meant
The heat of the moment burns in your thighs

Heat of the moment, Heat of the moment
Heat of the moment, burns in Your thighs

Updates:

As we get nearer to the time, I wanted to post some updates of the things that people should know:

1) Parking
Parking on the street is going to be allowed, but I will be needing to get everyone' license plates to get permits for you all for the weekend. Even if you are not staying overnight, apparently you are not supposed to be parking on the street for longer than three hours, so to avoid any problems, I will be taking note of all license plated and taking care of that during the first game.

2) Meals
In an effort to keep the tournament running on schedule, I am providing lunch on both days. I have ordered a six foot long sub for the Saturday and will get pizza in on the Sunday. I will be providing breakfast for those who are staying overnight. People will have to fend for themselves for dinner, but the games will be done at this time, so it is not a concern. The only thing I ask is for those who will be participating in the Stunty Cup to grab a dinner to go, and bring it back, so we can take care of that in a timely manner.

3) Stunty Cup
There are still a few spots left for the Stunty Cup, so if you are at all interested in this, then be sure to sign up soon!

4) 50/50 Draw
I am going to be holding a 50/50 Draw during the tournament. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5. The proceeds for this will go to the "Team Spazz NATC Fund". Basically a discretionary fund for anyone who is on my team for Vegas next year - to help us all get there!

The boards are being touched up, so keep posted for pics in the near future!

There is room, but it looks like there is going to be about 10-5 people staying over, so space is getting tight! There is two beds, which can fit two people spooning, and then there is a lot of floor space.

Eric said that he might be able to take some people over to his parent's place to alleviate some of the pressure at the location.

You might have more luck getting a ride Friday night, I can help arrange something if you want to go that route,

Friday night is gonna be kinda lazy for me, so I do not mind picking up a few "Gents" if necessary later that night. As Spazz mentioned I can easily host few at my folks place if necessary [i have an air mattress and there are couches and plenty of floor space]. Though that means all night partying would be at a minimum; not to say that fun cannot still be had [as the house is well sound proofed] but if you are looking for a good night sleep I may be the best option.

Here is a map to the tourney location:

http://maps.google.ca/maps?rls=com.microsoft:en-us&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1&rlz=&redir_esc=&q=84+dunlop+court+brampton&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x882b14601ea0e14f:0xcf4d116da93ebc12,84+Dunlop+Ct,+Brampton,+ON+L6X+5A6&gl=ca&ei=PmiNT-e9NcKBgAfnl_X_DQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCQQ8gEwAA

The directions would be as follows:

-take the 401 (whichever direction) to the 410 North
-take the 410 North to Williams Parkway exit
-turn left (West) on Williams Parkway exit
-follow Williams Parkway to Pertosa (first right after Chingacousy - you will pass by a plaza with an Esso station and a Giggling Tomatoes restaurant)
-turn right on Pertosa
-make first left onto Whiteface
-Make first right onto Lake Louise Drive
make first left onto Ancestor
-Where Ancestor runs out is Dunlop court, and #84 will be right in front of you, literally!

Eric, I realize that you will probably not be taking the 410, but figure you are savvy enough with Brampton directions to figure out where you are going!

Q'ermitt Dice

I have a very limited amount (two and a half sets) of the Q'ermitt Earth dice left. If people want to purchase them for five bucks a set, then let me know by PM ASAP.

I was planning on repleneshing my stocks of dice, but due to some massive disorganization and blatant highway robbery on the part of Chessex, I am refusing to ever deal with them again.

I will be looking for a new dice maker, and see if they can redo the dice for me, but obviously it will not be happening for this tourney.

Also
If anyone has a set of the Q'ermitt Water dice (speckled opaque blue - not transparent), then I would be very interested in either trading for them or buying them off of you, as my set seems to have gone missing, and I would really like to have the complete set!

@Tristan - I have already taken your set off of this, so no PM is necessary from you, in case you feel like just saying "hi"

To save the hassles of finding your way around the maze-like streets of a Brampton suburb, I am willing to pick up booze for people if you let me know ahead of time what you want. That, and pay me back for it, of course!

I suppose that this could go for wussy-non-alcoholic drinks as well! But there will be water, juice and pop available at the tourney.

I may have a set for you as Q`ermitt constantly pisses me off and the only colour I want to play with is Earth as is it is sh!t coloured and matches my usual ability at this tourney . . . Razz

Call for Rosters

Just a reminder to people that due to the increased amount of bookeeping made necessary by a league style tourney, this means that there is increased potential for mistakes being made.

In the rules it does mention that the first error made (however unintentional) will result in ayellow card, which is just a warning. the second infraction will be a red card which will deduct one point off of your final tournament score. So please double check all rosters before handing them into me!

To this end, if people want to submit their rosters tome BEFORE the tourney begins, then I can check them over before the tourney and you can avoid any penalties if these are found before the tourney's beginning.

Underworld Pitch Rules:

Weather Table:

2-3 : Golden Showers! (Same as pouring rain)
4-5: Fecal Flow! any player using a GFI adds +1 to the slip in the widezones only. (so they fall on a 1-2)
6-9 : Nice.
10-11: Warpstone Cloud! Same rules as Very Sunny, except Skaven & Underworld teams are immune.
12: Sulpher Gas Leak! Same rules as Sweltering Heat.

KICK OFF TABLE:
2: Warpstone Stash, one player rolls a D3 & both players start with that many more tokens.

3:Riot (as per normal rules)

4: Perfect Desfence (as per normal rules)

5: Glowing Ball: All attempts to catch or intercept get a +1 to the roll. (This lasts until the end of drive or until the ball leaves the pitch.

6: Cheering Mutants: Same as Cheering Fans, except you add +1 for each Cheerleader & +1 for each mutant on your team (mutants = players that have mutations beyond what they start with)

7: The Flush! Reroll the Weather Table! & All players that are "Lost in the Pipes" will spill out onto the pitch each from a random pipe, scatter for aquare they fall to if they go off pitch reroll scatter square they scatter to. Players "Flushed" in this way are placed prone, if this takes them into another player that player is "pushed back" as if the Flushed player had the Juggernaught skill.

8: Brilliant Coaching: (as per normal rules)

9: Quick Snap: (as per normal rules)

10: Biological Lethargic Organic Being (BLOB): A disgusting mass of sludge has emerged from a random pipe. Place a BLOB figure in that square. It will right away Block or Blitz the closest player. (if more than one player is same distance then randomize). The BLOB's stats are: MA 3, STR 4 (no AG or AV), Skills/Traits Foul Appearance, Tentacles, Wild Animal. If the BLOB fails any Wild Animal roll or recieves a knockdown resultof any kind, it disolves into the ground & is removed from play. Should the BLOB still be on the board at the end of the half or drive, do not remove it(it can only be removed from failed Wild Animal roll or a knockdown). If on the next kick offa 10 is rolled there will be a 2nd BLOB on the pitch (up to 5 can be on at anytime, though more than 1 is pretty rare). The BLOB(s) will always take its turn before the Offence player takes his/her turn.

11:Warpstoned! Same rules as throw a rock except if the injury roll is a double ignore the injury & roll a D 8 :
1=Big Hand, 2= Extra Arms, 3= Very Long Legs, 4= Tentacles, 5= Prehensile Tail, 6=Two Heads, 7=Horns, 8=Claw.The player hit by the rock gains the rolled mutation which will last to thend of the current Drive only.If the player already has that mutation it is wasted, but they still ignore the injury. Any position on any team can be affected , so yes a Wardancer could get Very Long Legs or a Mummy could get Claw, of a Akink could get Horns!

12: Sewer Snatchers!: A thing from a random pipe (D16 roll) grabs the nearst player within 4 squares (randomize if more than 1 player is at equal distance)& they are pulled into the sewer . To avoid capture the player must pass an unmodified STR roll, if failed place player in the "Lost in the Pipes Tray"

UNDERWORLD PITCH contin'd

PLACING PIPES:

At start of game each coach takes 8 pipes & places 4 in the 4 endzone squares of his 2 widezones. then rolls a D12for each pipe (treating the endzone as zero move the pipe the number of spaces forward towards midfield. (There can only be 1 pipe per row per half & no pipe can be in another pipe's tackle zone, if so reroll the new location of the newest pipe.)

LOST IN THE PIPES:
Any player may enter the pipes on his own with no penalty (if carrying the ball he loses the ball & the new one gets tossed in right away.
Once you are in the pipes you are considered "lost in the pipes" & placed in your side tray below the board.

At the start of your turn & only the start you may roll for each player lost in the pipes one at a time. (if you forget to do this after your turn starts, you may not do so until before your next turn) For each player roll a D 8:

1=Very Lost, they take the entire game to find the exist, place in Dead & Injured box, treat as if Badly Hurt, but no SPP's are awarded.
2-5: still lost roll again next turn.
6-7: Random escape , player escapes from a random pipe D16 roll & maytake an action right away(but the said action had to be called before lost in pipes roll was made , example, MOve, Blitz, Pass, ect.) Player leaving pipe has half his MA rounding downfor this turn.
8 Planned Escape: Same as Random Escape, but you chose the pipe!

WARPSTONE TOKENS:

At the start of the game each coach gets a D3 number of warpstone tokens (one roll applied to both teams)

The Warpstone token can be used one of 3 ways:

1) Bribe the Ref: If a secret weapon or player getting caught fouling is ejected by the Ref the coach of the ejected player may use one warpstone token as a bribe. Toll a D6 on a 1-3 the bribe fails, on a 4-6 it succeeds (but if the roll was a 1 or 6 the above rule still stands, but the Ref is too busy with his warpstone addictions. Untill thend of this Drive there is no REF to make any calls.

2) Warpstone Wake Up: You may add up to 2 tokens per player as a +1 or +2 to a KO roll. But if a 1 is rolled they player is treated as badly hurt.
A token can only be used for one roll, so if you have 3 tokens & you add +2 to a roll you only have 1 token left for next player. Tokens may be combined with Bloodweiser Babe but never more than a combined +2.

3) Escaping the Sewer: As many tokens as you wish may be addedto a lost in the pipes roll to escape. (to increase chances of rolling a higher number.) but the number of tokens must be declared b4 the D8 roll. A roll of a 1 even if tokens were addedstill results in "Very Lost in the Pipes"

THE BALL!!!!

If the ball gets kicked off pitch or into a pipe or bounces off pich/onto pipe, it does not get thrown back in instead it is shot out of one of the 2 Warplightning Cannons in center of pitch.

PIPES & WARPLIGHTNING CANNONS:

All pipes are considered open spaces for pushing purposes & Warplightning Cannons are immovable objects but are only big enough for ball not players.

I'll have to confer with Chops, but I do belive he lost his game in round two, 1-0 not won 1-0, I know his record was 2 wins 3 losses, not 3 wins 2 losses.

Not a biggie, I know in the past I have accidently entereed in a wrong result & it later was rectified. Just lucky I'm an anal stats whore I guess (oh & I can imagion the jokes that will result from that line) Rolling Eyes

I'm going to post this in a few threads; please forgive any duplication. I just noticed this past weekend at Lakeside that I'm missing my "Sweltering Heat" token from my set of Q'ermitt 2012 weather tokens. It has the grooves filled in with yellow crayon wax. I realize that it's a long shot but if anyone somehow wound up with it please let me know. Thanks!
