Hi,

Can I borrow a Wood Elf team from anyone attending the tourny? I don't think I will have my own team prepared in time.

Best, Leathan.

Unfortunately I don't have a painted Wood elf team for you to borrow. I do have Dwalf's, Orcs, Skaven, Lizardmen, Humans, Choas/Nurgle, and High/pro elves.

Note, this event is next week so sign up for the event if you want some bloodbowl fun.

Yes we have room. Please sign up if you can so we can gauge the numbers correctly, but the more the merrier.
natsirtdm - Jun 06, 2012 - 01:15 PM
Post subject:
what are the numbers currently at?
Lizardcore - Jun 06, 2012 - 02:18 PM

I wouldsay around 12ich, so there is at least 10 free spots.

Post subject:
Is there a meeting in dufferin mall before 11 to sort everything out or just be at DG for 11?
Lizardcore - Jun 08, 2012 - 10:09 AM
Post subject:
looks like it's DG at 11.

so a tight tight timing for games.
L3athalK - Jun 08, 2012 - 12:17 PM

Are we going to use timers then to make sure games get finished?

I will bring a timer, as I hate when a game is not finished (i.e. finished turn 14).

If you're slow, no mercy Wink
mellis1644 - Jun 08, 2012 - 07:13 PM
Post subject:
Just a reminder this is tomorrow and we have space for turn ups on the door so the more the merrier.

To answer the timer question, we'll be checking time for players to ensure that games get completed, but I think we'd prefer players to judge and pace the games themselves. We will use an express fast and limited turn mode for really slow games though if required, to ensure rounds are not held up. Smile

Well the Orion cup went off without too trouble and we had a good turn out - 14 players in all, so a good turn out. I'll post the results in the next day or so, but thanks again for all the participants, it was fun.

That was a lot of fun. Thanks for everybody who showed up. I regret it was a bit "rushed" so there was little time for bullshitting during games or chatting between games.

Kudos to Leathan who might become a pretty annoying wood elf coach Wink

Thanks for coming out everyone! It was nice to meet some new faces down in our little neck of the woods. I'm going to convince some of the guys to come out to one of the bigger events later on this year.

Thanks to Runki (and Leathan) for the carpool and company (and serious ass kicking) and thanks to Mark for a great run tournament.
See y'all at the next.

So about 40% were Skaven teams sheesh, and Laurent finished 7th with his vaunted Skaven...he must be getting influenced by our Canadian way of playing Razz Congrats to Leathan, guess your strategy taking woodies would be if you can't beat'em, join'em (in this case play them) wish I could have made it, hope to see some of you over the summer.
