also, I have someone's metal ball from last year. I found it stuck to one of my guys after I had got home from the tourney.

for the record I played against: lafemmeduforge, L3athalK, bellowthunderslam, Zap_Rowsdower, gmacd, & orxymandiuz.

I think it might have been Zap's but I forgot about it until this week when I dusted my guys off.

I will be sure to bring it next weekend.

To all, Notorious_jtb will be doing NAF renewals at Lakeside this year, since I will not be able to attend. The new black d6, d8 and d16 will be available. If you want older block dice colours, please PM me or simply renew through the NAF website.

Hi everyone sorry havent' been on but everything is going to be the same as it has been for the last six years, nothing is going to change,
clarification on the rules" are : cant' give more then two attributes {st.ag,mv,av)to the leader.but if you wanted to buy 4 ag or 4 st and spread it around, then do so,that will cost alot and then leave you with holes or weaknesses in other pllaces.Everyone will have the same advantages.or disadvantages if you spend your coin wisely or unwisely.people can buy the same starplayers if they want to.it is full price on the cost though.you can buy also bribes, cards, bloodbabes, etc.sorry havent't ttalked on forum lately, i appreciate everyone talking obout tournament that is great, thank you for this,i have been busy,so lets get yourselves ready for a wonderfull time of friendship and memories.
thank you talk you soon pete.

I'll be taking another step towards playing all 25 races (incl. Space Marines) and bring the nefarious "Twirling Twilight Twisters"!

Similar to the last Hope Bowl, there will be a charity attached: I'll donate $2 for every touchdown I receive and $1 for every touchdown I score to Alan Aid: http://bothdown.com/alan-aid/

Don't think so - I had some stuff shipped to Nate, but he can't make it and I asked about handing it off to someone else coming and he said not that he knew of.

Here are the final results, ranked by strength of schedule (= sum of opponents' score).

      Code:
#   Team                        Race         Coach     Score  TDs    Cas   Team

20  East City Crypts            Necromantic  Gordon    1      2-10   6-14  East

As Wapcaplets said, the West clearly won - despite the outrageous violence displayed by the East:
      Code:
#   Group   Score   Touchdowns   Casualties
1   West    94       106-96       95-118
2   East    70        96-106     118-95

Fun facts:
The match with the most touchdowns was in round 1 between Joe and Tyler, with Tyler winning 7-6.
The matches with most casualties were in round six between Matt V and Greg as well as Colin and Craig, both 6-2.
Ryan's Orcs did not suffer a single casualty throughout the tournament.

Thanks again to Pete for hosting a great event!

Ah Boo the West!

But Yey Peter and Tammy and the Lakeside cup of Awesomeness!

I am so happy that i was able to make it, and enjoyed getting to play after a while. Fun to meet all the "new" people, who probably don't feel new to anyone but a semi-retired has-been Smile

Thanks to all the guys I played for wonderful spirit and approach to the game. I enjoyed everyone of them (despite being a little tired by game 3, sorry Dave) and I hope you did too!

Thanks also to Stimme for doing the stats and for introducing me to SCORE. A very cool tool indeed!

Cheers,
Joe

Definitely a huge thanks to Pete and his family for hosting such a fantastic weekend. All the parts I remember, I remember fondly. The swag was amazing!

Also to all my great opponents - Austin, Greg, Patrick, Joe, Colin and Stephanie for being such spirited opponents and fine coaches. I feel very humble to leave with the Best Sportsman/Gentleman's award and hope to see you all again soon!

Thanks Pete and Tammy for the tourney and for putting up with us Hooligans yet again. I suspect this may not be the last of the Lakeside Cup.

Thanks to my 6 opponents , Leathan, Gord, Stephanie, Patrick, Ryan & Austin.

Maybe see you at Warpstone Cup.

Even crazier is he had another match where he scored 6 I believe.

Thanks again to Pete and Tammy for hosting as usual, and to all my opponents who were great fun.
