Hi guys,

so NAF Canada are trying to get super organised and really support all the great work that tournament organisers are doing all across our huge country.

To aid this we are doing a couple of things, first being having a website to host tournament information and a calendar all in one place:
http://nafcanada.ca/

We are just starting that, so let us know your feedback!

Also we have a page on facebook you can like, and if you do you will receive invites to all the tournaments that take advantage of NAF Canada to "host" their events on facebook.

https://www.facebook.com/CanadaNAF

We will be tweeting a bit as well @nafcanada

We have a blog, but I think all of that stuff will stream to the website now.

This has replaced the old Canadian Tournies announcement thread, and if you don't just reach out on facebook etc feel free to PM natsirtm or me to discuss how we can help promote your events to the larger community!
If you submit a tournament in Canada for approval by NAF you can probably expect to hear from us as well. We are in a keen mood! Smile

Thanks sann!
Tell you what, give us a couple of weeks to get our tourneys collected/put into our sites and then we will ask what we should be doing better with all the lovely data from the TOs!

If you are a tournament organizer - please get in touch through any of the above methods (fb, twitter) or by emailing info [@} nafcanada (dot} ca
Provide us with an email address and you will get an account setup on the website for managing your tournament listing.
Having this on the website gives us the capability to do various forms and more involved website stuff which means you can run your preregistration forms and such from here.

Fred, I need an email address to be able to set you up. You'll be responsible for your own postings, but I've added some help stuff right in the admin section. Either PM me or use the email listed above.

I am looking for someone who is interested in helping to compile photos and results from previous tournaments. I have done a lot of this for the Canadian Open but just do not have the cycles to cover other tournaments. Even if you are willing to take on one particular tournament and get as much history posted as possible I am interested in your help, please PM me.

I plan on updating my two tournaments with full history/results/photos. Once I have all that done, I can start helping with other ones.

Orion Cup and Deathbowl would be two that would be great to have, since they were two of the first in the region, along with Spike before it moved out west.
