Hello fellow North Eastern Bloodbowlers! I'm here as the general overlord of the Geordie Blood Bowl League (GBBL) to invite you to come join us! Some facts first:
- We are based in and around the Newcastle area, as far North as Northumberland and as far South as Darlington.
- We have around a dozen current coaches, of which 9 of us are involved in the league.
- Several of our coaches are familiar names on the UK tournament scene.

- We've been playing together since 2008, and are entering our eleventh season now (January '14)
We organise a lot of our gaming and tournaments via instant mobile messenger, but also have a forum we try to keep up to date. You can find the link HERE. If you are interested in playing in our league, here are a couple of overviews of our current season:
- We play a slightly amended version of CRP, mainly around inducement rules.
- The current season is an open format where you schedule your own games, we have previously played fixed schedules though.
- After the regular season we use a playoff to determine the overall winner.
- Seasons typically last 6 months.
- This season is 16 games then playoffs, with all teams starting from scratch.
- Games are arranged ad hoc, but typically are at least fortnightly, usually more frequently.

Adding to that:
-We use STARS and QUILT to track our rosters and league table
-We allow Khorne on an experimental basis and have discussed the option of including other house-ruled experimental rosters
