The outlaws and lawless BB tournament, for those special few that skirt around the border patrols....

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $50 - Non-NAF members (with $10 going towards NAF membership sign-up).
TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 3/1/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the LRB6.0 rules including all 24 approved races.
TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,100,000 gold crowns with which to build a "rookie" team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, fan factor, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in CRP/LRB6.0 rules and may not be used on Star Players.
INDUCEMENTS
No inducements may be purchased unless you are the coach of a “Stunty†team. Stunty teams include; Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld (without Skaven), and Lizardmen (without Saurus) teams. Stunty teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player. Goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef, all as per standard CRP/LRB6.0 rules.
TEAM IMPROVEMENTS
A player may receive a max of 1 upgrade. (Veteran players tend to avoid the Festival)
Every team will get an extra allotment of TV to spend towards skills and stat upgrades based on tier.
A max of 1 of each stat upgrade and 2 of each skill may be selected.
Tier 1 (100k) includes; Amazons, Chaos Dwarves, Dwarves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves
Tier 2 (130k) includes; Chaos, Chaos Pact, High Elves, Elves, Humans, Khemri, Nurgle, Slann , Vampires.
Tier 3 (160k) includes; Halflings, Goblins, Ogres, Underworld,
The near lawless Border Princes style of Blood Bowl play will be reflected by the drawing of Special Play cards by coaches before each match.
50k of card value/ matches 1 and 2
100k of card value/ matches 3 and 4
200k of card value/ for final match 5

For sleeping accommodations, the tournament is on a large plot of land on the St. Lawrence river. There is space in the house, but plenty of space outside for tents and such for camping outdoors.
Food wise, Bar-B-Q's will be available and people are encouraged to bring food for the fire (assuming weather holds up). Breakfast will be supplied, and snacks and standard drinks (water, pop, etc) throughout the day. BYOB.

With six players showing everyone got to play each other through the weekend.
Weather was good with it raining only later in the evening after gaming was finished for the day.
Pat and Dan have started a new tradition with the pre- tournament Friday night Toad races.
Champion was Mark H. with 3 wins , a draw, and a loss.
Ryan, Dan C, and Manu all finished with 2 wins, a tie and 2 losses.
With head to head results deciding the placement,
Manu was 1st runner up
Dan C was 2nd runner up
and Ryan placing 4th.
Daggers was 5th. with 2 wins 3 losses.
finally Pat G with 1 win 2 ties and 2 losses won the " Cuckold" award and was rewarded with a brief fondling of the Helm of the Pussy.
BBQ was on and lots of time in the lake was enjoyed by all.
Looking forward to next year as I had a great time hosting the coaches!

Great fun, Colin. Looking forward to next year already. Having the Special Play cards was awesome and they played a key role in a couple of my wins.
Speaking of wins, Ryan won our game 2-1 (1-1 cas). So I finished 3-1-1. Just saw that you mentioned that I finished with 2 draws.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the same crew next year, plus a few more hopefully. I believe that this tourney has earned the title of "The Woodstock of Blood Bowl." Well done Colin!

WOW!!!
What a blast.
There is nothing like being able to take a jump into the river at half time. So much fun and some very crazy times during the Saturday fun.
Colin big congrats on an amazing weekend.
We might have only been 6 players but I think we sounded more like 30 at times.
To my 5 opponents thanks for the games.
If you need to let out some steam and forget all the crap in real life, you need to get yourself down to next years Border Princes (aka: Woodstock of Blood Bowl) and have some fun.
Friday nights drinking game is now going to be an annual event. Toad races!!!!
