One question our league had in using the Season 2 optional rules about hiring a Star Player and paying upkeep, would you be able to keep him on in the playoffs as well? Or would the season 1 rule about no mercs or Star Players in the playoffs via inducements coming into play?
We assumed that because the Season 1 book only prevents via inducements that a hired Star Player would be allowed this way.
