Post subject: RE: Return of the Golden Sweetbun!!!
Five years ago Pierre Sweetbun took the the Golden Sweetbun trophy on a promotional tour of the lands. While traveling near the chaos wastes he disappeared and was not heard from for these past five years.
Feared lost forever the Halflings decided to hire a powerful wizard to help them find their friend and leader.
After many nights and days Pierre was finally found. Using all of his power the wizard has been able to free Pierre from the chaos wastes but only once a year for one or two days. At first the Halflings were pleased but they found it came with a problem.
They have no idea where he will appear.
Trying to be optimistic Pierre saw an opportunity to make this work for him and the Golden Sweetbun tournament.
Every year wherever he appears the Golden Sweetbun will be held at this location.
The great northern snow lands of the Norse, caverns of the dwarfs, jungles of the Lizardmen…..the list is endless
This year it has been revealed that Pierre will make his appearance in the lands of the Elf Union

The ref is so nervous with such a big celebrity in the stands that after a foul is made, roll a D6, on a roll of a 2+ the foul is ignored. Doubles on armor and/or injury will not be spotted by the ref. Normal rules for all secret weapons and ‘’argue the call’’. Lasts till the end of this drive only.
3- TEAR, EM APART! – Quite a few Gobbos are in the crowd and they are looking for blood. To represent this, any injury rolls made due to the crowd will have a +1 till the end of this drive.
4-PERFECT DEFENCE! – Standard rules for perfect defence apply
5-HIGH KICK! –Standard rules for high kick apply
6-YEAH! – The fans are getting super excited for the match. Each coach rolls 2D6 + cheerleaders, coaches and FAME. Highest gains a re-roll. If tied, both coaches get a reroll
7-WEATHER! – The wizards hired to control the weather have temporally lost control. Roll a D6 for the new weather till the end of the drive. At end of drive weather returns to normal
1 Heavy fog: Any doubles rolled for armour and/or injury from fouls do not cause a turnover. Only quick passes can be made
2-4 Torrential downpour: -1 on all attempts to pick-up, catch and intercept the ball.
5-6 Heavy Hail: -1 on all pass attempts.
8-BOO! –The fans are getting upset with the lack of excitement. Each coach rolls 2D6 + cheerleaders, coaches and FAME. The lowest loses a reroll. If tied both lose a reroll. If there is no reroll left to be lost winner gains a reroll

Had a blast! Thanks very much to Dan for a great weekend. Awesome BBQ to start and the time flew by.

Thanks to my opponents, that fling roster was a hot mess by the end of all my skill ball pulls lol.

Ended the day 0/3/1 which was enough to beat out the other fling coach on tie breakers & I took The Stunty Shield.

I will be sure to spread the word about Pierre and his sweet, sweet buns...

Big thank you to all that came out. You all made it so worth bringing back the Sweetbun into the tournament scene.
We ended up being 10 playing for the right to hoist up the Golden Sweetbun with also 2 stunty teams competing for the extra prize of the Stunty Shield.
Also wanted to say a massive thank you to Sous-Sol Hobby for letting me have the tournament in the store and also helping me with the prize support.
