The outlaws and lawless BB tournament, for those special few that skirt around the border patrols is back!

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $45 - Non-NAF members (with $5 going towards NAF membership sign-up).
TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 5/2/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the previous rule set ( if allowed) including all 26 approved races.
TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,100,000 gold crowns with which to build a "rookie" team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, fan factor, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. No skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in current rule set and may not be used on Star Players.
INDUCEMENTS
No inducements may be purchased unless you are the coach of a Stunty team. Stunty teams include; Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld (without Skaven), and Lizardmen (without Saurus) teams. Stunty teams may purchase 0-1 Star Players, but must purchase 11 players before they can purchase any Star Player. Goblin teams may purchase bribes and Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef, all as per standard rule set.
TEAM IMPROVEMENTS
Every team will get an extra allotment of TV to spend towards skills and stat upgrades based on tier,
A player may receive a max of 1 skill or 1 stat upgrade.
A max of 2 each skill and 1 of each stat upgrade per team.
Tier A: ( 90k) Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Lizardman, Orc, Undead, Wood Elf.
Tier B: (100k) Amazon, Bretonnian, Elf Union, Norse, Necromantic, Dwarf, Skaven.
Tier C:(130k) Khorne, Chaos, Nurgle, Khemri, High Elves, Humans,Chaos Renegades.
Tier D:(150k) Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Slann, Underworld, Vampires.
The near lawless Border Princes style of Blood Bowl play will be reflected by the drawing of Special Play cards by coaches before each match.
Only up to 2 cards of the same value may be drawn per match.
example: game 3- 2 50k cards and 1 100k card for 200k or
2 100k cards for 200k or
1 200 k card for 200k
you may not pick 4 50k cards.
games 1 and 2 - 100k value of cards
games 3 and 4 - 200k value of cards
game 5 - 400k value of cards!

Just a note. With the 3rd wave rampaging like a fanatic Goblin on 'shrooms I've been asked if I'm limiting attendance. At the moment I believe that by the end of July with the vaccine rollout and seasonal decline of transmission during summer months we should be good for an outside gathering of up to 25 persons
in Ontario. At least that's what I'm seeing on my Cabal Vision crystal ball.

We supply food, alcohol ( rum or rum), cigars and outhouse.
Of course you can bring your own favorite poison ( to drink or smoke, ingest)

Another Border Princes has come and gone.
This year we set an attendance record with 16 coaches!
Most coaches arrived Friday evening for the " opening ceremonies" which were Olympian!
First thanks to my Wife Debbie for keeping the show running smoothly as the host ( me) was playing BB all weekend.
Thanks to Daggers for bringing some great " sexy lady" drinking glasses and dice as swag for the coaches.
Thanks to Dan and Pat for the table canopies and all the extras they do to make this weekend a success.
It was great to see and play against friends for the first time in a year ( for me).
This will have been the last year for BB2016 rules as next year we will use the BB2020 rule set.
Congrats to Ian for the big win!
