N95 and surgical masks will be available at the door should you wish to wear one.

Roster Building
1,120,000gp to build your team including: players, re-rolls, dedicated fans, apothecaries, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, kegs, bribes, chef, and riotous rookies as per standard build rules with this money.

Apothecaries work as stated in the rulebook.

TIER LIST
Tier 1:
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardmen, Norse, Orc, Undead, Wood Elf, Elven Union, Human, Khemri, Skaven, Underworld

Tier2:
Black Orc, Chaos Renegades, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Old World Alliance, Slann, Necromantic

Tier 3:
Vampires, Nurgle, High Elf, Chaos Chosen

Tier 4: (Stunty):
Ogres, Goblins, Halflings, Snotlings

SKILL SELECTION
Teams will be given an amount of gold pieces to purchase skills as per their tier as listed below.
Tier 1: 120,000 GP
Tier 2: 140,000 GP
Tier 3: 160,000 GP
Tier 4: 180,000 GP

An individual skill may only be taken two (2) times (for example, only two players may specifically be given the “Leap” skill). Each player is allowed to gain a max of 1 additional skill. Stat upgrades are not available.

- Each Primary Skill available to that player is 20,000GP
- Each Secondary Skill available to that player is 40,000GP

PINBALL ROUND
Before the start of Round 4, everyone may choose to play in the “Pinball Round.” Real Pinball for Real Skills!

4 different pinball machines, each with a skill category associated to it (General, Strength, Agility, Passing). Starting in reverse order of standings, players will choose which machine/skill category they wish to play for. Each machine will have a maximum of 4 players. Winner of a machine (and descending from there) gets to choose a skill from the machine’s category to give to any player on their team, including to a player that already has a skill. Each skill in a category may only be chosen once.
Should the pinball machines not be available for any reason this round will be converted to a “Skill Draft” in reverse order of standings instead. Like the Pinball Round, each category of skill may only be chosen by 4 people and each skill may only be chosen once.

This is a resurrection tournament (all injuries will reset at the start of each game).

The first round will be randomly chosen then Swiss pairing will begin on game 2.

If you and your opponent each have the same star player rostered, that star will run off (or lumber off in the case of Deeproot Strongbranch) with both of your hiring fees and enjoy a nice cuppa nog instead of playing. Get wrekt.

YOU MUST HAVE 11 PLAYERS BEFORE HIRING STAR PLAYERS.
The 2 star player max rule is in effect. All Second Season Edition Stars and any new SPIKE Stars are welcome.

Journeymen, Igors, Mercenaries, Wizards, cards, and new coaching staff are NOT ALLOWED.

NUFFLE HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE

Nuffle has graciously decided that each coach will receive one, randomly chosen special play card (BB2020) for your use during the tournament.

At the end of each game both coaches exchange their special play cards. The exchange continues after each match is finished. Nuffle didn't say it would be a good exchange.

HOLIDAY SWEATERS
If a coach wears a holiday sweater/upper body attire to Jingle Bowl their team will receive one free assistant coach and one free cheerleader.

TIMING
Games will be 2hr in length. Players should do their best to play within this timeline or risk their game being ended by the tourney organizer (not ideal). We want to keep to the time line as much as possible so coaches travelling are not inconvenienced.

DICE

Only NAF or GW block dice may be used. Coaches are expected to use the d6's provided.
The rule “too many men on the pitch” will be ignored.

SCORING
After each game you will fill in the game sheet tracking the following:
Win: 6pts
Tie: 3pts
Loss: 1pt

A sheet will be provided for you to vote for your most enjoyable opponent and to track your touchdowns and casualties.

PRIZES
-First Place (You win!)

-Runner up (Almost!)

-Stunty Cup (2 Stunty team minimum for this award – The best of the worst?)

-Most Brutal (Casualties, fouls, surfs, tackle, arm bars… basically, if you can say a skill or action caused damage, count it. Chainsaw on yourself counts!)

-Most Touchdowns (Take the ball to the opponent’s end-zone the most times)

-The Spoon (or coal, possibly)

As is my tradition at previous Jingle Bowls, there will be a stocked cooler with beverages of various types and if all goes well, fizzy stuff on tap for all to enjoy. Lunch (probably pizza) will be provided.

Hoo hoo HOO!

I have purchased the vendor rights for a special team... if all goes well I'll have a few sets for sale AND one painted for the raffle Wink

I'll also have a dice display case and a few rare models that aren't necessarily for sale anymore.

PLEASE NOTE!

Spaces are filling up fast! What this means is that those that pay will solidify their spots and ensure they are not bumped.

Really excited to have a full house!

Thanks to everyone coming out on Saturday! I had a blast running the tournament for everyone and I hope everyone had a blast attending! Unless something drastic happens, I will know for future that I can reasonably expect to fit 20 participants should I host at my house.

Now for the food bank! Together we raised $600 during the tournament through donations! According to the Food Bank website, that money will help to provide approximately 1200 meals to people in need this holiday season. I am absolutely floored by everyone's generosity, and I believe this is a record for Jingle Bowl, at least while I have been hosting!

So again, from the bottom of my heart, thanks to everyone who enjoyed the weekend's festivities. Have a wonderful holiday season!
-KR (Derek)

(PS - It's only a bell if you subscribe to plausible deniability Cool )

$600, nice! Was a great tourney. I appreciate all the extra work and thought you put into the details such as the awards, give-a-ways etc. And happy to see some old faces and meet new ones. Thx again.
