The outlaws BB tournament, for those pot hunters that manage to skirt around the border patrols, is back !

COST
$40 - NAF Members, $45 - Non-NAF members (with $5 going towards NAF membership sign-up).
TOURNAMENT
5 games of Blood Bowl played over two days (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday) Swiss-style match-ups after game 1. Tournament is resurrection.
Tournament points are W/T/L - 5/2/0, with strength of schedule as primary tie-breaker.
We will be using the BB 2020 rule set.
TEAM BUILD
Coaches will have 1,350,000 gold crowns with which to build a team. Each coach must purchase a minimum of 11 players. You may also purchase re-rolls, dedicated fans, assistant coaches, cheerleaders and apothecaries. Skills or stat increases of any kind may be purchased. Apothecaries work as described in the current rule set ( BB 2020).
BUILD RESTRICTIONS
Any individual player may only receive a maximum of 3 additional skills.
No limit on skill repetition.
If choosing to give a player a characteristic upgrade, said player may not be given any additional skills or characteristics.
Only 1 of each characteristic upgrade may be chosen per team.
COST
Primary Skills ( 20,000 gp)
Secondary Skills ( 40,000 gp)
Characteristic Improvements
+1 AV (10,000 gp)
+1 MA (20,000 gp)
+1 PA (20,000 gp)
+1 AG (40,000 gp)
+1 ST (80,000 gp)
INDUCEMENTS DURING BUILD
" Bribery and Corruption" teams may purchase bribes (50,000 gp)
Halfling teams may purchase a Halfling Master Chef ( 100,000 gp)
" Low Cost Linemen" teams may purchase Riotous Rookies (100,000 gp)
No Star Players may be purchased.

Can more than 1 player take 3 skills or is it just one player that can?

More than 1 player may be given 3 skills.
If a player is given a stat increase that is all he may receive. If a player is given a skill, they cannot then be given a stat upgrade but could get more skills , up to three total..
Only " vanilla" players can have a stat increase in other words.
You can purchase 1 of each stat in your team build, So 5 different players each with a different characteristic upgrade is possible.

Turns out that Glenn has confirmed that he will be coming with me for this! Should be a great time as always. Have the Friday off too, so will head up there for early afternoon it looks like. See everyone next weekend!

Thank you to all participants in the ninth annual Border Princes !
30 coaches braved the elements to set a new attendance record !
Despite the extreme weather swings and tornado alerts, the party continued throughout the weekend.
My family and I so enjoy hosting our event for this growing Blood Bowl community.
Of course none of this would be possible without all of the support we get from our friends.
Congrats to Buffalo Chris for taking his Orcs to the Championship!
L3athalK took Runner up with Underworld
and first time attendee Guitamasta and his Dwaves placed third.
Drakenspear's Elven Union won the Highlight award with most touchdowns,
and young James and his Chaos Chosen slaughtered the opposition to win the Executioner title!
Despite attempts to bribe the TO with some excellent cigars Resolute Spore and his Orcs still took home the Wooden Spoon !
Finally a special " Big Fish " award went to James and his Dad for landing 3 of the largest ( 1 perch and 2 bass) fish I have seen caught from our dock in 30 years !
