Post subject: Lutece Bowl in Paris 3/4 th of April 2004 3 seats available
Hi all,

I have the pleasure to herald that The Lutece Cup will hold his first big tournament the week end of the 3/4th april 2004 in Paris : The Lutèce Bowl.

We are still working on the best formula for the place, accomodations and stuff to optimize the fun Wink

The date is definite. It will be an open, 6 games (3 on the saturday and 3 on the sunday), TR 110, swiss format, after each game a player can pick a skill...

It isn't NAf yet. We're working on that as well. So just keep the dates in mind. Rule pack and more infos are on the way.

I don't want to spoil it but there will be some surprises... Wink

Well, we wanted to do ours the 24/25 th of april first. But the french game day will be the 25th and the BB will be the first wk of May so we had to move it. Nothing against the ECBBL. Sad I might not be able to come with the organization as well Crying or Very sad

We have good plans for this tournament...It will be IN Paris and it's a city with a lot of surprises... Cool

This mustn't be a problem for any foreign players. Most people speak english. Beside, we will give translation sheet (english/french) for the skills so there will be no problem.

The staff speaks english, some speak german, some spanish and JC speak le cul ! Laughing (Sorry for this one I had to do it)

The point is also for players to meet they'll have plenty of time to practice their english or german and you your french Smile

Hello all ! Everything is under a good way.

CONCERNING ACCOMODATION :

I've found a good place for you but there is the Marathon of Paris at the same time. It's the closest cheapest hotel but due to this big event you need to book rapidly. They've got a special offer for the wk : 60 euros (maybe 55 if you book from the site) per night for 2 people. Double or seperate beds.

Post subject: Question?
Hi,

Due its my first tournament I've s.th. to ask:

Does the Nurgle team get their Rotter when the Beast killed a player during the tournament?

I haven't found anything on the website.

Thanks

Alex

no, after each match the teams are resetted.

But If the player is raised during the game, it can be used during the match itself

Exactly as for Undeads.

Damn ! Kithor, I thought you were going for dark elves Wink

Free rotters only join at the end of the game. So no bonus players for them.

Exactly like Ian said. Play dark elves, it'll be much simplier Wink

Bon, seriously now : a new letter should be sent this week with all the last details. I'm looking for a good place for both friday and saturday night. Maybe try to arrange a restaurant on saturday. Anyway, we have the place until midnight on saturday for you hardcore players.

We're still waiting for the authorization to sell beer (for cheap).

My advice : Paint your figs, there will be a great price for the best painter.

And be ready for some intense action. We've worked on a system to keep the pressure on the 6 games even if you're not in the finals. Very Happy

It was just a question because I was reading through the new teams and don't know how this will be handeled.

But now I know it.

Thanks Wink

OK Louis, I can kind of see where you are coming from, but as both me and the Skaven are there and as my Norse probably won't be painted, why can't i enter the Skaven as my painted team for the "best painted" category??
