I voted for Red Gore, because it's darker, easier to highlight without making it look pink, and because if we do paint the NAF logo on the figures, it will show up more with the NAF logo done in Blood Red.

red gore - base
blood red - highlight
Vomit Brown (realy) - Final top highlight
Red Ink - Wash
Use the above for the armour as it makes it look slick with blood!
The vomit brown, after the wash makes a real diffrence try it on a tes mini!!!!
For trousers - Scorched Brown/red gore mix - Base
red gore/blood red mix - Highlight |

I think we have to relax a bit on the guidelines, the minis are supposed to reflect the painter's work afterall. That's kind of the point of doing a legacy team, you have to kind of expect the minis to be a bit different. Red Gore is a good base, but as far as technique goes I think it should be up to the individual. |

Agreed. If we use the same base colors, the team will look like a unit and folks will have a bit of creative freedom while painting. Technique advice is welcome, but we don't want to get bogged down with procedures. It will all come together in the end! |

Good point. As long as we aim for a "reddish" team, possibly with a NAF logo somewhere then they should tie in fine. BB mag is black and white anyway |

Ok, then it is official:
Red Gore to go with the Skull White and Chaos Black. Highlight/shade as you see fit |

Oh hell, yeah! I'd be painting tonight and tomorrow if I didn't have games both nights. I guess it'll have to wait until the weekend...
I need to buy Red Gore, anyway. |
