Under Empire Cup
The Under Empire Cup is being hosted by London's Under Empire Blood Bowl League. And the league's stars want to put on a show!
Cost: $15 for NAF members, $20 for non-NAF members (includes membership)
Location:
The Rec Room
1680 Richmond St.
London, ON
Schedule:
11:00 - Registration
11:15 - 1:15 - Round 1
1:45 - 3:45 - Round 2
4:00 - 6:00 - Round 3
6:15 - Awards
Format:
The first round will have random pairings. Rounds 2 and 3 will be Swiss pairings. This will be a resurrection tournament (no SPP, injuries carry over).
Rules:
Teams will have 1150k to buy players, team goods and star players. Goblins may roster bribes for 50k each (100k for other races) and Halflings may roster a Chef for 100k (300k for others). Star Players up to and including Spike #6 are available for hire. In addition, some Star Players from the Under Empire League are willing to suit up (see below). If both teams hire the same Star Player the player will play for both teams. Wizards, specialist coaches, special play cards, and other inducements are not available for purchase.
Games will be 2 hours in length. Players should do their best to play within this time frame. Games will be ended at 2 hours. 4 minute turn timers will not be enforced unless play is behind (as determined by organizer).
Illegal procedure will not be called. Only NAF or GW block dice may be used. Dice must be shared if requested by an opponent.
The Under Empire wants to see star-studded lineups. As such, they will be offering to pay part of the Star Player's fee to see them at the tournament. Each tier's coupon can be put towards the purchase of Star Players. The team must remain at or under 1150k after applying the coupon. The roster must have 11 players before purchasing any Star Players. Star Players may not be given additional skills. Each player may receive a maximum of two additional skills.

That is about another tournament. Our local league runs a 7s tournament during the middle of each season.
We are going to push this tournament back a week to August 24th to avoid conflicts with Elora Riverfest. |

Quick question--is there any limit to skill spamming? Or can you get the same skill as many times as you'd like?
Thanks in advance--looks like we'll have at least a small delegation from Detroit coming out. |

There is no limit to the number of players that can be given a specific skill. Each player may have a maximum of two skills added. Awesome that you'll be making the trip here. |
