About the Dutch BB Tournament Series
The Dutch BB Tournament Series is run each year from the beginning of February (after the Dutch Open) and ends with the Dutch Open of the next year. The series aims to enhance the participation in these tournaments and to improve the Dutch Blood Bowl scene as a whole. These series are set up in accordance with the NAF rules regarding Structured Tournament Series.

Tournament Series Organiser
The TSO for this series is Michel Schaake (aka mepmuff)

Participating
Any NAF member participating in any of the Series' Tournaments will receive points based on their final ranking. The top 3 coaches, as well as the best stunty coach will receive an award provided by the NAF at the end of the series .

The tournaments
The tournaments that are part of the series are decided at the start of the series and sadly can not be expanded upon. For this year those tournaments are:
- Thrud's Tavern Thrash - Amersfoort - 25-03-2018
- Madhobbit Massacre - Amersfoort - 20/21-05-2018
- Amersfoort Amok - Amersfoort - TBA
- BUBBLE - Utrecht - 08/09-09-2018
- Clogcon - Hoofddorp - 28-10-2018
- Amersfoort Amok - Amersfoort - 06-01-2019
- Dutch Open - Amsterdam - 02/03-02-2019

Please contact the Tournament Series Organiser if you want your tournament included in future editions.

Scoring Details
Coaches are only eligible for points if they are NAF members prior to taking part in the tournament. Participants will receive the following points for each tournament they attend:
• 10 to 1 points for top 10 placement The winner receives 10 points, second place 9 points, tenth place will receive 1 point. Should there be fewer than 10 coaches, the maximum score equals the total number of participants, and the following places decline as usual.
• + 1 point per 10 places below them in the standing Coaches receive an extra point for every ten coaches below them in the rankings. Examples: A coach finishing 12th in a 40-coach tournament would get two extra points for the 20+ coaches below him, whereas a coach finishing 2nd in a 11-coach tournament would receive no bonus.
• + 1 point per day of the tournament
• Only the points from the three best scoring events count. Maximum two of these scores can be scored with the same race.
• Tiebreakers First tiebreaker is the number of tournaments attended, second tiebreaker is the number of most first place finishes, followed by most second place finishes and so on. Third tiebreaker is the number of different races played.
• Stunty teams There will be an additional, separate scoring for stunty teams, which includes Goblin, Halfling and Ogre teams
• For the stunty award, the best 2 stunty scores will be counted. For this award both scores can be scored with the same race.
• +1 Bonus point for each different race played in the series (All of theses bonus points count, not just from the top 3 scores)

Awards
Only coaches that have attended at least three tournaments within the series are eligible for an award.

not entirly sure this was added up correct. i think i am at 31 12,4,11 with 4 teams played.
with david playing in 3 tournaments with 3 different teams and 30 victory points for a total of 33. Wood Elf+9 , Necormantic Undead+10
undead + 11 (30+3=33)

milo is indeed at 34.

David scored 12 points with undead at the BUBBLE (2nd place out of 13 in a 2 day tournament: 9 + 1 + 2)
You scored 11 at Thruds, 4 at the summer Amok, 13 at the BUBBLE and 2 at the winter Amok. With four different races that adds up to 32.

Hi all, as a late returnee to the bb scene after a 1.5 decade hiatus I'd like to attend some Dutch tourneys. Being a northerner means I'm stuck in limbo with only a handful of experiences coaches, so I want to e expand my range. Is there a mailing list/discord/notification system of any kind that I can sign up for?

Thx,

Erik

Hi Erik,

Your timing is impeccable. Just yesterday a few people who are active in the Dutch tournament scene met to discuss how to reach out to a wider audience and a newsletter was one of the subjects. It's going to take a bit of time to set up, but I think we should have things in place in time for the Dutch Open. At that time I also hope to know which tournaments will be in next year's series.

Upcoming tournaments I expect so far:
04 Jan: Amersfoort Amok
01/02 Feb: Dutch Open Amsterdam
25 Apr: Speed Bowl Utrecht (TBC)
30/31 May: Madhobbit Massacre Amersfoort
04 Jul: Amersfoort Amok (TBC)
Fall 2020: BUBBLE 2 say event Utrecht, Street Bowl Arnhem, Ramstel Cup team event Leiden.
